the problem with this angle was that, from day 1, it was ruined. The Bucks can't be fired, we get that... but we also knew that Tony Khan was still running the show. So he could have had them sent home or whatever.
They didn't plan this angle at all, they lost hundreds of thousands of viewers during it, it killed off the live audience etc. This. Was. AWFUL.

Disco & Konnan, I can honestly say Tony Kahn is simply leading his company to the brink of ruination. At this point, I am giving up on AEW and it should be renamed Absurd Elite Wrestling 😂
It's not at the brink. It's already ruined. A man set on fire in their main event beat a hall of famer to win. And the guy set on fire is a mid carder at best. AEW is far beyond a joke at this point. its a total carny clown show.

There used to be no way I’d miss an AEW PPV, but I didn’t purchase Dynasty nor DON (one of their major PPV’s).
Watching AEW booking is easily the most frustrating thing about them. Watching AEW is like watching NBA level ballers play pick up ball. It’s cool, but it doesn’t mean Jack shit.

IMO, if Tony insists on being on tv, he should lean into the negative reactions he’s getting from audiences and turn heel. Become a Bischoff style, cowardly boss who abuses his power. “I fear for my life!” could be his version of Vickie Guerrero’s “Excuse me!” But his need to be liked is so intense he just has to try to play the face even though it’s falling flat.
There is simply no money in AEW, it doesn't matter how much money he pays people, or how many new guys he brings in.

AEW last night was all about putting over the ex-WWE wrestlers than get paid a fortune and are drawing NOTHING.

the storyline was fine and got people talking about AEW in a way they hadn't in years... until Khan turned up at the NFL draft.
He himself killed the angle within 24 hours. Only Tony Khan should be getting any time of blame here.
i hope that Tony Khan has the common sense to end the angle now that the PPV has happened. It didn't work, you had the match.. do something else.
