The dlc bosses are hard and some are mechanical challenging, but they are really amazing fights. You’re right about vigor and damage negation but you’re also gonna need to utilize another mechanic exclusive to the dlc.
Mohg has a lot of delayed/massive sweeping attacks that are difficult to dodge, or sometimes people have difficulty with a single boss without knowing why (for example, I absolutely cannot comprehend the first phase of the final boss of the dlc no matter how hard i try, the moveset simply does not compute with me brain), and Mohg does a lot of bleed and covers the entire damn arena in bloodflame
People that rushed bosses in the dlc and ignored Scadutree fragments then complained it's too hard are just dumb. The fragments are there to prevent OP lvl 200+ builds 1 shotting every boss. Get filtered 😂
They really don't make tht much difference though, blessing level 0 is hell. 10-15 feels quite balanced and 16-20 is just stupidly eazy. You can tank so many hits it's ridiculous. Like I get why they are here but they definitely could have implemented better, and not have like 20 damn levels of this, 6-9 would have seemed more resonable.
It would have been better imo if the fragments were dropped by significant bosses like sekiro, which would make scaling smoother. But they couldn't just do tht since tht would just gatekeep the open world design
broooooo, lol I used to be a Haligtree Hooligan! I stayed trolling people on the way to Malenia. there was nothing more satisfying then catching a group of three and pick them off one by one. watching the pressure build and them make subtle mistakes that leads to someone getting chopped down! lmao good times😂
People really expect to be able to fully facetank trade with bosses, run away to heal, and win this way. They expect 60 vigor to make this possible, because they have a cult telling them they need 60 vigor. They don’t know about damage negation and they don’t consider the possibility of learning how to identify and dodge attacks. And this would be totally fine if they just laughed it off and didn’t complain. But they do complain, a lot, bitterly.
Literally, you have to research the bosses and learn your windows of attack, you can also use that wild crafting system and make pots that bosses are weak to and chuck those bitches at them. I had so much fun in this dlc figuring out weaknesses and actually exploiting those weaknesses with weapons and consumables!
I'm not gonna excuse the people that complain about the general difficulty of the dlc. But i think the final boss was really too much. All the other bosses were fun or atleast balanced in some way. Trading defense for offense and vice versa. The final boss is just a big bloated health pool with endless combos, some bad hitboxes. I try to play without summons and while i know elden ring is way harder that way, i never had this much trouble, considering how prepared i was, at literal max blessing level, 55 vigor, fully upgraded weapons, good damage stat spreads and optimized talismans. No matter how much i tried, the only way to make the boss manageable in the end was using a spirit ash in second phase. Was just really unfun expecially because story wise it was a pretty disappointing ending aswell
I feel like people that enjoy a challenge aren't complaining, I think it's quite the opposite. Those that limit themselves with builds know that it's going to be much harder, especially with less fragments. But I think the people that struggle are the ones shocked that their mimic and their awful build cant get them through the game anymore, as it now requires skill, and now you must learn to dodge. A lot of people that played the base game failed to actually complete Elden Ring, that's about 65% of people that have failed to beat Mogh, just the one boss that takes you to the DLC. It's also a boss far easier than many of the base game bosses.
God man im playing through the game with someone who has a shitty mentality about invasions, its pretty annoying to listen to someone who cant pvp bitch about what pvp should and shouldnt be
Spoiler, But your both wrong about the damage and damage negation in the expansion. The fragments basically determine your strength in the new world. Of course hp helps. In what universe would they not.

Yeah, it's doable. IF you can see what TF is going on and the strobe light effect doesn't make you blink to see even less. It's doable AND bullshit artificial spectacle at the same time.
Only bs attack is the double swipe cross. But yeh the light pillars are literally just a more punishing version of Mohgs Bloodflame, idk what redditards are on about.
@@shinyhydreigon7257 double swipe into cross is just a frame trap that's solved by a directional dodge with the 1st swing. The hard part is how fast it comes out, so you have to always been ready for it

Well the buff was pretty minor and the main thing it did was make the early fragments more effective. tbh the buff doesn’t radically change the difficulty imo
nah its a good change. It mostly just changes the early levels and it also means that repeat playthroughs do not require you to explore as much, which is good because i dont want to go around the entire map looking for fragments every time i wanna replay the dlc and not get oneshot. if you dont want it to be too easy, simply dont go looking for fragments
