I wish there was a way to put that sound unit in a micro trains stock car, thanks for posting great job they sound good but for that price I'm not sure about them.
All your videos are a great help in model railroading, quick question I followed your toggle switch for kato track works great , just went to dcc nice powercab can I keep toogles and do I hook the wires to blue and white track wires, thanks
Thanks for another great video. The 2 cars that I got from you arrive today and they will be integrated into my ATSF LSX stock train (normally 20-22 stock cars)...John
Nice review as usual Mike.I'll be picking up one of these cars from Ya but I think the big addition for me will also be one of those Kato Sound Boxes also. I missed seeing you two this year at the Convention also. Next year I'll be there in PA. No moving next year.
I realize I live in the sticks but I've never heard of this before. I'd love to have a Santa Fe cattle sound car.. ah heck.. it's only money 💰 right? Thanks Mike!
They sound great Mike , the volume maybe needs to be turned down a little , or you might get a headache , we have one on the layout at the club and the guys want it off the track , I bought one with cows , pigs , and chickens in N scale , they are not cheap $69 USD thanks for the demonstration !
For what it's worth, I asked them a couple of months ago if they had sheep sounds for their HO version and they said no, with no plans to do the sheep thing. So, in the meantime, I just whistle the Whiffenpoof song.
Yes it is off scale a bit. I guess if it was weathered and maybe a little work with a number 11 blade would make it look better. I'm sure these will get better as time goes on. I have left that era for my N scale and only do modern, except for the passenger trains. Non the less BLI has mad this first attempt and they deserve credit.
Mike sounds Good to me: I'd probably set the Level @ 2 or 3 I can Hear the Birds outside your Shop I've heard the Bird but just can't place the Name.. I assume you have the Door open where your Layout is but for me the Sound is Great but my Hearing is Pretty Good so 2 or 3 would be Great.. A Level.. Now if these Companies could come out with sound Equipped Cars that have sounds Like wheel Squeal Brakes releasing or the wheels going over Sand things like that.. That would be Cool Too, Only time will Tell, Kato has the Sound Box so that would cover my Engine sounds for DC but for one Engine only if there was a Way to make S O U N D for more than one engine in consist or say you have a 90/43 MAC and a 70ACe each engine has its own engine Grow.. if the sound box could match that or if your running a Tail Engine and there was a Way to cover it which there may be that would be Fun TOO) ALL neat Idea's And coming from what I had in the Early Nighties the Couplers back then the Track, Things have sure Come along way for this ole Dude.. Along way..
Really cool cars! You have a very nice n scale layout! I subbed. Check out my o scale layout when you have a chance. I'm also doing a small n scale layout for the holidays. Thanks Nick

very nifty car for the era, glad more sound is coming to N scale. Great review Mike. As for the details it is what it is.
Thanks Peter, They were a hit at our fair.
Mike
These would go great for a siding next to a farm for some ambient sounds.
Yes , They are at my cattle pen.
Mike
Awesome video Mike. I may know a few guys that need some on their layouts.
Thanks Brother , I am working to get them on our site right now.
Mike

Mike
Great video and it would be great for a show.
Thanks George , and that is what I was thinking as well.
Mike
I hate how much drag they create. They should have went a battery powered option to reduce rail drag

I guess we'll hear them in no time on our new N club layout ? I can wait !
@@rogereldridge8233 I had to get them you understand .

Yep , I did realize there were no sheep after the video.
Thanks , Mike

Why cant a bnsf haul stock cars?
Stock cars are out of service before the advent of the BNSF
Very cool!
Well , they certainly get folks attention at shows.
Thanks , Mike
I don't know about this one Mike. It is kinda cool, but I'm going concentrate on the Kato sound box! Nice review though. Moooo!
Thanks John , It is at the least, FUN.
