@@ethanconnell4569 Congrats!! Did it sell out before you bought, or just didn't want to go at the time?? I THINK you can still grab opening day if you do the 3 park bundle thing, not positive, but I thought you still could get it that way!
@@Dillon.Thomas I was in the queue and waited for hours but when I got in my screen was blank. I got back in the queue again and by then opening day & the day after were sold out. 😭 only reason I didn’t do the bundle is because I already have the season pass.
I saw Wicked on Broadway when I was 17 (senior year of high school 2005). I had the sound track on my old school pink Ipod. I have prepared my whole adult life for this movie 😂 I absolutely loved the film!
I think I'll like part 2 more, now that the story is picking up. I know Wicked has a VERY large following, and I can respect the love for the show. And I think they did a great job bringing it to life. I just don't LOVE musicals, and I did feel like it was very slow (especially being 2 hours and 40 minutes 😱) But I get the character development is inevitable lol!
@Dillon.Thomas my hubby isn't a musical guy either. I definitely can respect that it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Left him at home and took my mom instead to see it in theaters. That's a longgggg movie for someone not into musicals!
I'm an AP who lives out of state. Initially I wasn't gonna go opening date but during the initial sell I got a wild hair and decided to buy a ticket for opening day. It'll be busy and chaotic but to be there for a historical opening is something I couldn't pass up.
It'll be worth it! You'll never have the opportunity to be at the "opening of Epic Universe" again! Even with the craziness that is guaranteed to ensue, it'll be an amazing memory!
Whoo Hoo! Very cool! Yes - very similar experience. In fact, my tickets did not show up on the app for a few days, but were in my emails so I really wasn't concerned. I enjoyed the movie. There were some definitely slower parts and I felt it was longer than it needed to be. I will definitely see the second part, but I'm not going crazy over it. I agree - I can see Universal doing something with this at the parks. Be well.
Ya, it was crazy all of the insanity that happened that morning. The 5am drop, website crashing, payments coming in hours or days later, tickets not showing up lol. It was a hot mess. I didn't have but two confirmations for everything, so I was quite worried! I do think it'll get better for part 2, specifically for anyone that wants more story, it seems to be picking up. Did you watch the Broadway show before, or just the movie? I imagine their gears are turning over there about what the next move is for a Wicked/Oz expansion to come haha. I definitely can see them making some great attractions/lands with it, but I wonder if it'll have the same pull something like Harry Potter does or not.
@@Dillon.Thomas I've seen both - and the movie was true to the play. I can see them doing something - but how sustainable it would be is a good question. Be well.
@@Sir-Ray That's my big question, how sustainable is it really? I think Wicked/Oz in general lost a lot of interest over the past so many years, but with the movie coming out, it rejuvenated everyone. So let's see what the future holds!
I've read the book (which is WAAAAYYYY darker) Seen the stage production twice. I cried...more than I care to admit. You will probably like part 2 more. Part 1 is character building and is all about choices. Part 2 will be about consequences. So excited to see Epic day 1 footage!
I think Nicole plans on reading the book. I do think I'll like part 2 significantly more. The last 45 minutes had me much more interested as the story developed. I do think I need to watch it again or a few times in general to let it grow on me. Musicals will just never be my thing, unfortunately. Hoping for it to grow on me, regardless. REALLY looking forward to Epic content in general, just SOOOO much to cover. It'll be fun to see everyone's content coming out after opening and see all of the reactions, too.
Will we be seeing you at opening day for Epic Universe?!
Friends and I will be there for the FIRST 3 DAYS!
@@CarloRufinoSabusap Nice!! I'm super excited to see how it all goes and to see everyone's opinions on the entire day/weekend!
I scored day 3 & 4 tickets. I still want an opening day ticket 😭😩

Hope all goes well on the insane lines and crowds opening day.
@todayisanewday7 appreciate it! I'm looking forward to the absolute madness that will undoubtedly unfold haha 😄
So happy you two are going to be there on opening day. It will be a very interesting day.
It's going to be wild, VERY busy, but a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. So I can't wait to bring everyone along for the entire experience!
Wow! Congratulations on going to Epic opening day!
Can’t wait to watch your video!
Thank you! Looking forward to it, crazy busy crowds and all! LOL
We’ll be there too, myself my husband & 2 sons. Maybe we’ll see you there. It’ll be cool just being there.
Awesome! It's going to be such an amazing experience no matter what. It'll be extremely busy, but it's going to be worth it in every way.
