Matt as a JS developer, I have to say the bubble community is trash when it comes to content on YT, you have given me hope and do a phenomenal job explaining key concepts. PS. Anyone else reference your uncanny resemblance to Harry Potter? You have easy halloween costume every year. You are "The boy who bubbled" ;). Thanks a lot!
Ha the boy who bubbled! Brilliant. You should watch the old version of this video from 2019. Half the comments are some variation of 'you look like Harry Potter'. Granted I did have round specs then.... Glad you enjoyed the video!
Holy crap. 46.24 mins in This is the most incredible tutorial I think I have ever watched. Ever. This coming from a 100% self taught UX & design professional. I am truly blown away by the value of this and I’m only a third the way through.
Matt got the best of all bubble tutorials than any body else. He goes one by one in depth in a way of that anybody can understand. Thank you so much for putting this kind of tutors live on UA-cam Matt🙏🙏🙏
I am a programmer and was checking out No-code low-code platforms. This helped me understand all the most important parts of Bubble quickly. Thanks a lot Matt!
This is probably the best tutorial out there. I tried paid Udemy courses and others here on youtube and yours is simply the best. I specially liked that you focused on the workflows logic instead of the responsive engine. "Make it work then make it pretty"
This may be one of the best tutorials I've ever seen on the internet. Not just on Bubble, but in general. Thank you so much for putting this together. Subbed.
This is what every, not only beginner, but also every user of Bubble have to watch. These are esentials you described in right way for understanding how things are working. Not only how to do, but also how every user have to think when building apps. Based on this tutorial, now I can build more complex apps because you explained how things are working. This is not the video crowded with so many examples, this is about what is inside of the nutshell. Thanks Matt
a tiny contribution I discoverd along the way: You can customize alert message which appears after adding a shoe by clicking "change the alert message" Input Product Name's Value; added
This is really amazing. I was on the verge of giving up on doing anything reasonable with Bubble when I luckily stumbled into this video. I just finished it. I've learned so much and I'm going back to try and build something. Thanks a lot!
Honestly Matt, this is one of the best videos I have seen in forever! The effort you have put into preparing for this video is truly inspirational man! You simplified the logic behind everything in such an entertaining and easy to understand way, I simply can't believe I am enjoying a techy 3 hours + video this much. Thank you for doing this it is really helping me organize stuff inside my head in terms of how to actually plan for the apps I intend to build. Thank you so much indeed!
Thanks so much Matt, for creating a tutorial that actually explains why things go where they're supposed to, and the logic behind the programming. It is so simple to understand, a 6 year old could start programming. One of the best tutorials on YT period. Much appreciated.
The absolute Bubble GOAT!! You have an amazing ability to explain things that may seem 'too technical' in simple terms. I am going through all your content atm and really appreciate the effort you have made. :)
Amazing tutorial. Never seen anyone who can explain bubble so well. This tutorial made me believe that I will be able to create what I was thinking to create for a while. Well done Matt and thank you 🏆
Matt, when it comes to technical stuff like programming, I would never have thought that I would be able to do it and it is a true true testament to how easy you made it to learn. Thanks a bunch!
Really helpful course/tutorial if someone is trying start with bubble development. Gives clear idea about basic capacity of bubble and head start with bubble before you try to figure out things on your own. One sample API call in this would have made this course complete.
Thank you Matt. This is tutorial goes above and beyond expectations. It really gives a very rounded tour of the app for beginners. Much appreciated. Looking forward for more!
Thank you so much for putting this together! Watched it in one go while I'm ill on the sofa, but despite that I can't wait to get started on this. I'd like to make a reservation tool for my company, where people can book cameras, tripods, lenses, etc from our communication department. Sounds simple enough but I'm sure I'll be facing issues, such as conflicting bookings, or perhaps showing the number of cameras that are available at any given time. I'd also like to implement a system of recurring bookings, whereby a user can book the same equipment for a few different time slots. Bookings also need to be approved by people with a permission role of 'moderator' or something similar. Anyway, thank you again -this was a very valuable learning experience, not in the least because you don't just focus on 'click here, then there' but also explain the rationale. Great great stuff, and congratulations are in order!
This is the BEST instruction I've seen. You teach to the non-technical student, and you do it well! It's a skill very few with a technical background are actually able to accomplish.
This is absolutely incredible, not only the best and clearest free course I have seen on here but easily the best teacher as well. I will be buying the paid course in the next week, 100%
kudos for the tutorial! I am a senior backend engineer and i want to understand Bubble thoroughly to be autonomous in creating my own projects but using it only as Frontend, managing persistence and users in the backend.
As a person who can not even code "Hello World" to show up on an html page, but with experience configuring and maintaining various CRM and other business tools in an admin capacity, Matt's speed and clear speech taught me Bubble in a week, an hour every evening. I now feel confident building a valuable app that can quickly become a side income, of course given enough time as well as patience for trial and error to explore new concepts/flows through the basics learned here. I had paid for a class on Udemy, and I ditched that course the moment I started watching this video. I will certainly consider signing up for the full course. Thanks Matt for your excellent free videos.
thanks Matt, as someone who's just starting to build in Bubble right now, this is really a great help with such detailed information, and this has helped a lot people..
I have always regretted not studying computer science at university. I always thought I needed to learn to code. Having used low code tools extensively over the years, today I realised that I have been a programmer all along! 😊 Thank you for making the distinction as I feel a bit more at peace about the choice I made when I was younger!
Matt, I really really love your videos, that helps a lot...kindly create a separate small video for easiest way to shuffle dark/ light mode in Bubble, thank you!
I know this is an older video and I have a lot more lined up to watch... but I wanted to let you know I appreciate you saying you still have to treat this as being a developer. I'm new to the concept of the nocode stuff. I have a BS in Informatics and did a lot of programming classes, so I was somewhat skeptical on the capabilities. We've built APIs in school and I've utilized some random API stuff after school, so I'm pretty optimistic on being able to build an app to address a problem. I paused at 4:40 to write this so I'm excited to see what's next.
Matt, I REALLY appreciate the time and effort you have put into this lesson. You are a fabulous teacher. I hope that more people recognize your awesome teaching style, and generosity, and support you with a small gift of appreciation. Thank you!!
Oh man you are really awesome. I watched this video many times and every time I realized how great teacher you are. I will watch all your videos you give me hope that I can make it. thanks once again
Hi Matt, First of all thank you for the tutorial it's very easy to understand but I got stuck to Reusable elements the popup login its at 1:48:02 for some reasons I do not have that element and can't find it anywhere. I downloaded all the extra's but still didn't found it so I created one by myself but also a problem because I can't add it in my reusable header. The width of the header takes over my popup and can't show the popup fully. anyone can help me plz
Matt, hi! Your lesson is amazing!!! I've been developing with bubble since 2020. I liked your method of explaining the material with pictures so much that I want to steal it)) Thank you very much for such detailed material!
Thank you very much for the effort put in the video! It really shows that you have planed the video, before shooting it and put a lot of work so every bit in the video made sense and we were gradually building the app up.
This is so wonderful for a beginner and someone like me who has done coding for life as well! Just a note - If you are like me, speed up the video to 1.5x to skim through things we've known for life (such as what is a database?). Matt, I'm very impressed with your explanation skills. I'm wondering why it hasn't reached a million views already.
Extremely well explained course from an intuitive perspective. Saves significant amounts of time getting to grips with the framework and architecture for newbies when you explain the concepts graphically like that. Nice job, sir!
Matt, thank you so much. I had several fits and starts with Bubble - but your tutorial has been great! I'm almost done with this one, then I'll be on to the Responsive video. Thank you so much.
Last year I watched one of your older videos. There I was starting with bubble from scratch. Watching you again and hearing your explanations is still super interesting. I learned something new from you! thanks!
your videos are excellent. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to explain things the way that you do. I, as well as am sure most, am someone who has to have things explained in a certain way and you sir, make sense. I don't know why I struggled(ok still struggle) so much with bubble but I really do. Then again I have little programming experience. You have helped me put together an entire app with bubble within a matter of a week. Thanks again
Wow. For me, the webflow masterclass were always the best tutorial on UA-cam. Now they share the first place with you. I definitely will buy the full course, because even this free video has a higher value than the price of the full course. 😮 thank mate

Hi can anyone help me, while creating user signup/login pop-up form, i am unable to add group on the pup, it is keep going above than pop-up. it is aligning with the header box. It is happening like this because the page size of reuseable header is small. But in video it is working perfectly fine. (1:50:50 )
Man what a FANTASTIC video. Thank you so much for going into such detail and taking the time to intuitively explain the principles behind Bubble. You've made me so excited to jump in!
Anyone else having trouble at 36:51 when adding the price = Input product price's value? The only options it is giving me are 's height & 's width not 's value like in the name section... have been trying to find an answer for this for a long time and just cant. Thinking maybe its a bug? Send help pls
Great tutorial. Just started learning to use bubble and I'm glad I came across this video. Though it became confusing when you started doing the copy and paste method, everything became too fast 😫 The custom states and forking logic were quite challenging.
Always the youtubers with less followers give the best tutorials
