Wow great video, lve been Japan and Korea Busan when l was 17 years old and love the culture but may try one of these in few months when in Bangkok with my Wife will see what budget allows and will read up more on this type of day good to know Thai massage can go back and forth to spa 🙏🏴
thanks for your comment Kev. Yes, I'm also glad Thailand has similar public bath culture now like Korea and Japan. I'm glad my onsen story was useful for you. Hope you have relaxing time next time you are in Bangkok! :)
Bangkok is very hot! But you said it right about how many Japanese factories and people are here, that’s why there are good Onsen places. And I also like going there alone 😂 I’m glad I found your channel, thank you for taking us to the best 3. Subscribed!

I'm looking at an unlimited daily membership at one of the two YUNOMORI ONSEN & SPA's in Silom and Sukhumvit that only cost 32K baht ($936) for a yearly membership. Does this place offer an unlimited daily usage membership and what is the cost? Thanks
Hi BO, I might be wrong but I thought with their annual membership, you can access both branches? As for the membership price, you would have to call and check with them.
yea, they have increased the price over the past 5-8 years just like many other things in Bangkok unfortunately. (things are getting quite expensive especially for high-end dining/spa/hotels)
It's called "How I Invest My Money" (collection of advices from 25 financial experts) by Joshua Brown & Brian Portnoy. I liked how each had their own way of investing their own money
if just for onsen only (unless it's major holiday season), usually walk-in is fine. (sometimes they have promotions / discounts on their FB / website / gowabi app / ticketmaster thailand, check it out too). But if you want to get a massage (or private onsen for Panpuri), I highly recommend you to book in advance as they only have limited number of massage rooms and therapists. hope you enjoy it! :)
oh most onsens in Bangkok don't allow swimsuits but I've seen people ask for black shorts at the reception at Yunomori. I'm not sure about the other two hehe

My favorite is Yunomori sathorn branch. So comfy and the staff are much nicer than the other branch.
Yunomori Onsen in Bangkok really helped to relieve my knee pain after much walking during travel. The epsom salt bath works miracle.
I totally agree! that signature bath with epsom salt really alleviates muscle pain and fatigue. Glad you enjoyed your time there :)
this channel is so informative and relaxing and fun
Glad you think so! Thank you so much for your encouraging message, it’s kind comment like yours that keep me sharing more stories :) thanks Bandar

Which one is the best in your opinion?
personally, I liked Yunomori the best (price point, the environment and its convenient location)
Hi, do they have a private onsen bath for couples? At Hakone Japan they have private ones, would appreciate your response, thank you.
I like let’s relax thong lo! thanks for sharing those information
Yes, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere there. You are welcome and thank you always for your support NH! :)
Like a 5 star restaurant where you pay thru the nose for atmosphere

Oh the sathorn is newer and larger?
Yes, that’s the 2nd branch in Bangkok, newer and much larger than the Sukhumvit 24 branch. They also have a very big Yunomori branch in Pattaya too
Do you need reservations ahead for regular onsen? Or walk-in is ok?
if just for onsen only (unless it's major holiday season), usually walk-in is fine. Coming from the strip?
the strip, what do you mean?
cant you use 2 piece swimsuit instead of being naked? lol just wondering
oh most onsens in Bangkok don't allow swimsuits but I've seen people ask for black shorts at the reception at Yunomori. I'm not sure about the other two hehe
Yes, for men you can ask for black boxers to wear. No commando for me. :)
