Finally, a series that does not involve the character dying! (I do know about the other ones, but we've had quite a lot of characters die on us recently, which is the point of Zomboid, I know.)
Would almost have been too funny the moment he put one step outside of the boundaries of the trailer park, Chester immediately dies from sheer anxiety at the idea of going out of his comfort zone.
this series really opened my eyes to the power of foraging in zomboid, although you never found anything as impressive as the crown from panning on your vintage story streams
Yeah. I never really used foraging until I started playing multiplayer more often. And hooo boi did it surprise me lol especially once I started getting to higher levels.
yeah, the foraging rework they did a while back was a great success in my view. definitely helps that it was reinforced by my finding a Katana really early on via foraging!
The silver diadem and gold coronet, 1/10,000 chance and a perfect match for your bronze armlet to let everyone on the server know that you are the panning god.
honestly now with the cabbage patch, I think you could survive infinitely. so even though the playthrough is ending, id say Chester spends the rest of his life eating rabbits and whatnot in his nice rustic trailer home :)
Where Chester goes Well, noone knows His trailer park stands tall His gas can empt His moustache kempt He drives into the fall "Goodbye" we say "Come back some day!" His cap tips towards his brow And there we bet We'll see Chester yet But his tale, it ends for now.
This was a lovely series! I would love to see a part two to Chesters story! Id love to see him claim more territory and fully wall in the trailer park plus some forested area. I am curious if he will venture out of his trailor park to scavenge supplies to prepare for the winter that is to come and to find medicine and books.
So glad Chester made it. Haven’t been that glad one of your characters made it to the end since the All of Us are Dead series. This was a fun chill series. It was nice to just experiment and explore some of the mechanics of PZ without too much constant chaos and stress. Maybe some more challenges featuring Chester in the future, like a naked and afraid style wilderness survival series?
Glad to see Chester thriving and looking for new horizons! He actually taught me to appreciate my starting point, regardless of how crappy is my RNG, there's always oportunities to thrive if you just look for them. And Gerald Williams taught me to rejoyce in labor and honor my ancestors. May both of them be fine, and who knows, maybe they meet some time
Why not for a part two Chester reclaims the entire trailer park? Put a wall around the entire compound & fix everything up with every creature comfort he can find, something that would do builder Bobby proud. Say generators hooked up, interesting cars, each trailer dedicated to an activity? Still loads to see and do for ol Chester I’d say
My headcanon is that Chester left to go visit his friend Bobby, who settled on a nice plot of land on the other side of the county just before the outbreak happened.
I'm so happy for Chester! Just imagine all the cool stuff he's going to forage in the rest of the world. Never underestimate foraging, persistence does pay off! Excellent series Lime, fun ride as always! Looking forward to whatever you decide to do next.
I think you should know that I just sent a photo of half of the screen to my mom to show what I was up to and her response was "private lime's trailer parker series", and then we nerded out on our shared love for Claudette. Amazing, one of the best interactions I've had with a fellow nerd. all thanks to you
Great series, Pr1vateLime. Very entertaining. I hope maybe a part 2 in the Chester series. Too bad Chester couldn't restore power. All he needed was the manual and more gas.
Chester needs to not just be the king of this trailer park, but the king of ALL trailer parks! There are plenty around the map, including the one literally right next to the one this series took place in. Have him gain his freedom, drive 10 feet and discover the next trailer park. Clear it, secure it, and use maps to find more. His plan is to restart civilization using trailer parks which are usually low zombie populaiton and easy ish to defend. LONG LIVE CHESTER THE TRAILER PARK KING. LONG LOIVE THE TRAILER EMPIRE!
Great work! Maybe to help avoid potential burn-out in series, you could do up a hitlist of 3 objectives that mean you win each challenge? For example, Trailer Park would have been: ✅ Set up renewable food source where weight won't be dropping ✅ Plumb and renovate a home base ✅ Survive 50 days without leaving the trailer park Could be fun to show them to keep tabs of where it's at during the intro. Seen some other UA-camrs do similar and it seems fun. I also liked that wave-defence you did during the Facility challenge finale too. Fun finale events like "on day X, a horde of Y zombies will arrive" could add some spice to the ending of things like Trailer Park and Pyrogenic. Just throwing ideas! This "survive in a specific place" concept was real neat. Had a lot of fun watching 😊
Next Challenge idea: Live as long as possible within the boundaries of the fenced off passageway that blocks easy access to Louisville. There are a few structures and tents, some military gear, and even some grassy areas (do they count as forest?) to forage in. Bonus points as there is one gas pump that can be seen and act as a taunt to someone who cannot get to it. The challenge may get a bit boring as there will be VERY few zombies inside due to it being well blocked off, but still interesting to see how Lime manages it.
Chester lived those 50 days in that trailer park much like he tended to his mullet. Business in the front and a party in the back. Happy trails old friend. Happy trails.
When eventually the military come clearing through the area, they are shocked to find, and struggle on how to report... Chester's Trailer park. When they approach he speaks to em from the patio, drinkin and eating stirfry, but when they ask him to come with them, their somewhat surprised by the empty bottle that nearly hits their head and middle finger they get. They eventually manage to get him to share his survival skills in exchange for adult magazines and VHS tapes, the one thing he didn't have.
This series was really cool to watch. I can't help to nourrish the hope that Chester the good ol' chap from the trailer park will return in another series, showcasing how far he has gone and how adventurous he could have become once he left the trailer park.
Oooooh, so THAT'S why you did the Trailer Park. Trailer Park has Common and High Ratings for Trash Loot in the Foraging Department. Trash can randomly spawn tools, RNG wise that ya missed. Neat. But the lesson I took out of it - if you're looking for rare gear, or toys or items, the Trash loot is what you want - so the best place to forage, are places like Trailer Parks or Lime's spot.
10 years later after a bad winter all crops died, the cold doesnt seem to stop and the food supply is really low. There is nothing else to forage so Chester decides to adventure out. There is almost nothing to loot and zombie populations is as high as ever
A patio is on the ground..you have built a balcony. Awesome series, man. There were times i didn't think you'd make it....but you did. it was a super fun ride.
I'm a little disappointed that foraging didn't make it up to 10 but I can understand why. This series was a good one. I look forward to seeing more of your playthroughs
Something that I have been thinking about a lot since you first complained about radishes: in real life, radishes are an important crop, because they're one of the only plants that actually put nutrients, namely nitrogen, into the soil. Other crops, like corn, are famous for wrecking the soil and making it essentially unstable -- UNTIL you grow radishes there. I have two theories as far as the upcoming farming and crop changes in B42: 1. You will probably NEED to plant and rotate crops like in real life, like every-other crop will have to be radishes to keep the soil in tiptop shape. They use chopped up radishes as compost as well to add it to those same fields. I bet it'll be necessary for both crop rotation and composting for fertilizer 2. Radishes are used as a supplement in a lot of animal feeds. I'm assuming you'll need to make your own feed mixes since those animal relevant items will probably be in high demand after like a week in these MP servers. Similarly to how you eventually have to farm im order to trap consistently, i think you'll eventually have to make different mixes for different animals from various crops
Just an FYI: bait put in traps will go stale or rot in the traps as well so if they aren't catching stuff that might be the issue. Fun fact as well I discovered you can drag bandages in to the health screen picture of your character. 9+ years of PZ and still finding new stuff 😊
I really hope you make a series with the active zombies mod; it makes them wander around and spread out and search more and makes them more zombie-like. Personally, I'd recommend setting redistribute hours to 2, setting their eyesight/hearing to poor/poor and increasing the population to 2~3, makes the game super tense
If there was such demonstration needed, this series is an excellent proof of how huge of a bottleneck the saw is in Project Zomboid. Without it, this would have ended up being just a sad boooi dying of starvation alone in the dark. Without that saw, Chester would have lived a way more miserable life towards day 50.
Dang it! I were so waiting for you to slice those onions and to yell in frustration :P Nice to see that Chester is finally overcome his fear of outside world!
Would be a pretty cool part 2 to have Chester become the trailer park king of the world. Drive into every trailer park on the map and take it over by remodeling a trailer and fencing it off completely. Only using foraging skills of course...
Guess we had to have a series with a good end, since the last one included two character deaths XD Great work as always! Already can't wait for the new series, but you deserve to rest if you want to
I don't know if it's a "Preserve Food" mod, but if you have a Full salt shaker with a Mortar/Pestle, you can turn your extra Rodents/Birds into regular Jerky (making them Non-perishable). The Salt Digger mod will allow you to dig a grave then mine it for Rock Salt... then grind it up for more Salt!
I would love the return of Chester, it would be cool if you transitioned him into the chasing zombie idea, Chester will wish he never left that trailer park.
How were you okay with never taking off that dirty bandage off Chester's hand is forever going to amaze me xD Great series, man! Thank you for all the hardwork.
Definitely one if my favorite series, would love to see an alt universe one, like blend the trailer park challenge into a "dome" challenge where he actually can't leave, and half to survive the winter.
Everytime you finish the series I am both sad, and excited to see your next idea. Very good moment to end the series. Now, maybe some challange with waves of zombies attacking every night? There is such mod.
A sequel to both Chester and Builder Bobby of sorts where Chester goes to the suburbs and hates it so much he builds his own trailer in the neighbourhood
Chester is going for that road trip whoop whoop. Time to put all those fishing supplies to use. To the river and doing that American thing called camping
if there ever was a sequel id want it to be when they finally add survivor NPCs so chester can turn the entire trailer park into his kingdom instead of just his trailer imagine it all the trials of chester with even more mouths to feed and zombies to bleed.
The final episode of a series is always sad, but there is always the good thing, which is that another series is to come.
Finally, a series that does not involve the character dying! (I do know about the other ones, but we've had quite a lot of characters die on us recently, which is the point of Zomboid, I know.)
watch builder bob series as well it's also happy ending
@@EmreDARDAGAN I want another Bob the Builder or Dead Rising with the vending machines 🤩
Hes had a few where he doesnt die. The boxer one he survived
Dam i was kinda hoping Chester would get overrun
The zero to hero character didn't die u know

Or just a massive horde emerges from the woods and devours him.
@@LiteralSloth That too, anything that ends up killing him randomly.
Love a happy ending, really impressed, both with your gameplay, and your ability to entertain in such a limited area of the game.
Agreed. Entertaining in less than optimal conditions 👍🏻 Thanks Pr1vateLime for entertaining us all and your PZ content.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
this series really opened my eyes to the power of foraging in zomboid, although you never found anything as impressive as the crown from panning on your vintage story streams

Great content Lime. Would love to see a series where Chester takes the car and goes out to have some redneck fun looting places like a brewery
After the 50 day isolation, I think our man Chester deserves a couple of bottles of good ol' Whiskey
honestly now with the cabbage patch, I think you could survive infinitely. so even though the playthrough is ending, id say Chester spends the rest of his life eating rabbits and whatnot in his nice rustic trailer home :)
Realistically, in the winter snow doesn't add water to rain barrels or crops, so there might be some issues, but I'll give it to Chester.
@@nerfherder4284
Yeah, thats a bummer. Hopefully at some point melting snow for water over a fire becomes a thing.
He better supplement his diet or Chester will get rabbit starvation.
Dies of some natural disease in twenty years probably,
@@SvendleBerriessoulfilcher's mods allows it.
In the future, Chester should do a part 2 of this series in a bigger trailer, this series was very creative!
Keep it up Pro! 👍

Chester is what the zomboid community needed to respect foraging
Love you man

The quest for the perfect Stir-fry. Having him level up his cooking as the main focus.
What a series. Chester is an absolute chad. Truly a champion of the apocalypse.

Great way to end the challenge, I liked Chester's happiest stew : )
Chester was waiting here for someone. He realised they aren't coming back.
Please more, Please King of all Parks, with his skills and mastery, he should go clear every trailer park or die trying.
Goodbye for now, sweet Chester. You are the king of the trailer park and the king of my heart.
