This is a series of longer videos without any commentary that feature me surviving (often barely) as long as I can in vanilla apocalypse mode.
This first episode features some exciting things including me not changing the channel on one of the TVs to the correct station.

@@gmrn3014s That's actually not true. There is a video of a popular PZ youtuber (don't remember his name) that debunked that. There is no code in the game that suggest that player constructions, itens and constructions in general attract zombies. It is tested, most people get this idea but the real reason could be two possibilities: a zombie is following you to the building (trying to enter trough windows with planks) or the building is in his path to wathever place he needs to go (so he will go for the windows or doors to cross the building if the building has a back door/windows).
Best reason to barricade inside vs outside is if your 2nd-floor(+) sheet-ropes have been torn down and you've got a horde at the door(s), you can un-barricade and escape via the best window ... vs being trapped inside, waiting till you get nommed. 😆
As 'Y-all-mofos-need-Talos' noted above, zeds being attracted to planks on their own ain't true.
Nerd stuff: Even if (SandboxVars option) "ThumpOnConstruction" ( _zeds can attack / destroy player stuff like barricades_ ) is set on TRUE, zombie code doesn't target player construction / barricades on their own. Their pathfinding doesn't include "Player made this...Hulk smash!!" -- even when it feels like it to us, haha. Planks getting "thumped" happens from zeds taking straightest (in this case, destructible) path to something elsewhere. Their banging can then create a WorldSound that aggro's others nearby into a hungry toothy window-crowd. Lemmy at Indie Stone has answered this over the years in the TIS forums when it gets asked. Quality zombie gameplay keep up the hard work! Also finding myself liking the no com. It makes you focus more on the game then what the person has to ramble about

On a playthrough by another channel the player died and that changed the feel of the playthrough.
1:36:23 how did you drop the body so easy? Did you use any hotkey?
I actually learned this trick from another youtuber! When holding the corpse I pressed "1" to equip the griddle pan attached to my back which will automatically drop the corpse. The same thing should also work with a weapon on your belt or holster.

What is with the alarm setting after so many kills? Also couldn't see it very well on my phone what were your pos/neg traits
May I ask about your notes? I am fairly new to the game (under 100 hours) so I might be missing something. I can’t see how adding the radio frequency as a note on the map on your backyard, and “gas can” to the place where you actually looted a gas can, can help you. I’d get it if you hadn’t looted it and just left it there to loot later but you took it.
Writing the EBS on your map is useful in case you need to enter it manually into a vehicle's radio for weather updates. Idk about the gas can, he mighta just got mixed up
I just bought the game i thought apocalypse was an easy mode.....
