All I’ve ever wanted from a madness build is to land inescapable frenzy. So satisfying to see it in action.
Have landed it plenty. It needs to have consistent status build and damage. Glitched it kills no matter what, but if you don't glitch it you can expect 500-700 or so depending on if madness procs or not.

@@SyndicateAllTheWay yeah if it’s off hand casted it’ll apply the main hands magic/status damage every tick of the frenzy. I definitely abuse it against thirsty ganks swinging at me while I’m loading in all the time and it’s a one shot

It's crazy how like with the Link fight, when both players are really good it takes only the smallest mistake to capitalize on. Great job Link

I don't, can you imagine sleep swords but madness? Feel like a war spear is a perfect class for such a powerful status. Spells though? Yeah think they could use more interesting spells.
@@ItzSadSanchez it be a balancing act - the self madness would have to get bumped up. But I think we have too many SSs (and it's proven to be OP with status build ups). maybe a madness whip, flail, or Greatsword
@@johncrow5072 Yeah greatsword might be fine. Those aren't too spamable. Maybe make it an Onyx or Helphen. I guess I'm just really burnt from dual vykes and Trina's lol.

Faith gives so much utility and supplementary things to work around multiple playstyles - very entertaining to see incantations!
Endure and inescapable frenzy have been an absolute God tier combo! I'm glad they fixed the patch with the status build up in the main hand - hoping for some fun plays with it in the future!

It still works if you two-hand your seal, you'll one-shot any build. However you now lose the utility of having a weapon you can use to stun your opponent, so you have to time your grab extremely well.
@@theretrodj907 yeah! at least it's visually obvious too, there's no other real reason to two hand a seal so it's nice that it's telegraphed :)

When you're using the base Flame of Frenzy spell, try unlocking and aiming at the ground. It's very good for catching players that try to roll past you

@@shinren_ example: chase never let's any status build up. Usually, it's bleed but he definitely didn't use any Thawfrost Boluses that he has plenty to spare as seen in other videos. He let him have the debuff.

Useful tip for anyone wanting to use Inescapable Frenzy, if you two hand the madness seal it will oneshot.
This is one of my favorites! It's the closest you've come to a proper incant build but also the madness spells are interesting and varied. I like that you didn't just spam Vyke's weapon skill the whole time like the average fool. Good stuff!
Madness spells are amazing, I once used unendurable frenzy to make someone using both rivers of blood and moonveil cower in fear, and I have alsi recently used the frenzied command grab to counter a bloodflame and fire's deadly sin user in a duel
I wish madness build up on yourself worked similar to beast buildup worked in Bloodborne. Have a special talisman for frenzy builds that uses the madness bar for extra damage and maybe even a special movement.
Chase! I recommend you try dual wielding Vyke's war spear. The madness buildup on it is insane, the running L1 is amazing for roll catching and the damage is crazy. As usual, love the vid and keep up the good content!🙏🏻

Theres nothing like getting Madness to proc on your opponent eith the Howl of Shabriri and specially nothing like landing that sweet Innescapable Frenzy grab... its beautiful!
Love love love Vyke’s War Spear. Really wish we could have gotten his pre-madness version he uses in the evergoal.
Honestly the Frenzy incantations are really gnarly on an Arcane caster build (Dragon Communion Seal) as you not only get insane scaling but you build up madness like nobody’s business

Been playing around with the frenzy stuff lately and it’s super fun. In pve it also can stance break really well.
I like using the frenzy stuff and fire on the same build.
I find using the poise tear makes it so the opponent doesn't expect a thing as opplse to endure when using inescapable frenzy
I feel for the poor voice actress that had to record those screams for “howl of shabriri’😅

That Arishia fight looked pretty sus.... maybe just lag but ive never seen Adula's come out that fast
Didn't know there was a grapple/lunge attack in this game...looks like it could be made into a fun combo with stun/sleep builds, or to hang out around corners and welcome opponents with a big ol' bear hug!

I'd recomend the Golden order incantations, The triple rings spam with a Erdtree shield lazor on the bounceback or a Radagons Rings of light mix up to throw your enemies off guard?

The inescapable frenzy scales immensely off of crit damage from the weapon you have in hand. So you can actually one shot someone with it.
Hey Chase, how about the Venomous Fang? I think you never showcased that one, it's actually pretty cool... and you can use it on a fun poison build with fetid pots and poison arrows :)

Unendurable frenzy is pretty crazy too I pop the physick that gives poise to tank any 1 or 2 hits from my opponent and I jusy hold it down and they'll try to leave but get staggered and madness proc'd killing them with that 1 button
I really enjoy theese build videos Chase! Wish you did a madness build on an arcane build though, as to showcase the increased madness buildup with dragon communion seal
Apparently there's a new frenzy grab exploit going around, so if you see somebody using it definitely keep your distance and don't get hit. I saw Prod get hit with it in a recent video and it straight up took him from 100% to 0% HP in one grab
The dragon communion seal scales with arcane so to allows crazily high madness buildup with incants
10:10 interestingly, madness procs during the grab, but no health is lost because of grab invincibility.
HOWEVER, you can tell that FP DOES go down as normal, meaning status secondary effects do apply through self infliction, even during s.

if that war cry heavy attack animation bug works on vykes spear it might be a cool build because the madness buildup could let you land the full alternate heavy animation
If you double hand the seal before the grab its a one shot
To me the madness set is not complete without the shield, but i can see why no one use it: 1) people hate you for wanting to be the wall and 2) it weight a friggin ton, hope one day you can make something with one of the greatshields of the game Chase (after all shield bash was also buffed in the patch), but if not, give us Rosus' Axe, to see if its good now, mate.

It's too slow for that. A charged R2 is your best bet
I know you already had the sonaf but I would love to see a death knight build... Where you Set them up with ancient Death rancor and finish them off with the Night comet aow
Also possible as a weapon: the treespear with the magic blade buff to capitalize from both int and faith
try predicting when youll get madness to proc and follow up with inescapable frenzy while theyre stunned

I don't think I've seen anyone try to use inescapable frenzy after proccing madness on the opponent. Is there a reason? I don't think there is any reason that wouldn't work. And if that functions that would pretty much be a free kill given the opponent can't avoid it.
