Just read the book, it could be three times as thick, really hard to put down, riveting. Then watched a pile of Maiden clips, incredible band and this man is a multi talented genius who does far more than fly incredible aircraft and sing in one the the most legendary heavy metal bands ever. What he fits into a year is mind boggling.
I just finished reading this book, very insightful, inspiring, & his frankness of the "joys" of cancer & chemotherapy is very blunt. My wife is 2 years clear now. He doesn't waffle on about his personal space, his private life is his own business & I respect him for not digging in the dirt so to speak. I had no idea about his tour of Sarajevo during the war till this book came out, and when you consider I'm 49 now & have been a fan since I was 13, talk about a perfect roll model.
Just finished the book and loved it. Didn’t dwell too much on dramas and issues, just told his story in a witty, cheeky and very intelligent way. How this guy has managed to fit what he has into one lifetime.
Someone I know, who flies small planes, bumped into him at a small rural airport in France. He was a big Maiden fan, but they spent almost an hour just chatting about planes and flying.
Just an Amazing human Being.. Beyond Maiden he is an interesting guy, but add in being am international, heck Global Rock star and he is just one of my favorite people.. has been for 30 years..ill read the book for sure.
They were always awkard with everyone, especially the bloke. Probably should just stick to reading words on a screen instead of doing "chatting at the pub" routine with random guests.
I remember watching this live. The program only had a few minutes left and the weather man wore a maiden shirt through out the entire morning and of course its the BBC any sort of over excitement in the news anchors is shot down immediately and with out remorse.
those 2 presenters are terrible, so cold and detached-no banter at all and apparently no knowledge at all of Bruce or anything he's done to be able to ask in depth questions.
I just got done with the book it's a horrible book I definitely do not recommend it you're not going to get anything substantive on personal things he has with the band or nothing it's a Jerry Seinfeld episode it's about nothing it's all about him flying planes folks there's some good stuff in it but other than that he shares absolutely nothing and it looks like he went through his cancer all by himself like a hero he talked about nobody nobody in his life nobody it's not a good book at all I don't recommend it,,very disappointing ...

I love this man! :)
The name is DICKINSON, you might want to correct it.
And thanks for sharing.
I hope on the plane he said "this is your pilot Bruce Dickinson. Yes, THE Bruce Dickinson" but sadly I doubt it!!!
One of the best Heavy Metal singers wears a suit? I guess that people do change!
He's awesome ♡
Bruce Dickinson, a brilliant humble guy...
Those two presenters don't seem to warm to him. They probably have no idea who he is.

Not a clue!
MAIDEEEEEEN!!!
up the irons.......
A real life Buckaroo Banzai... The only difference is that he doesn't fight crime (or does he?)
His speaking voice has definitely deepened and become more nasally/harsh since the throat/tongue cancer. It has to affect his singing as well.
I certainly didn't notice anything on the Book of Souls Tour.
Not in the least bit. Try listening.
God Bless you and your family and the plane
the wicker was singing and then Bruce started singing "6.....6..6 THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST" :D:D:D:D:D LMAO
God bless bruce ❤😊
He’s so cool!
Still rocking n rolling??!!!?? ...urghhh u can see the pain at such shit questioning ... up the irons!!
Hahh! As I was liking the clip I realized it just went up to 666 likes from my thumps up
Dickinson (spelling)
Fico confusa nunca sei quem está ali se o cantor ou o piloto
*Dickinson
As much as I love Bruce with super long hair and tight pants, he looks adorable with his curly bangs and a suit jacket.
Me sigue gustqndo
LOL
You wrote Dickinson wrong dude.
