- Pokemon Heart Gold has a romhack out there that's nearly impossible. Pokemon Sacred Gold and Storm Silver are hardcore versions of heart Gold and Soul Silver that make the games so hard they're nearly impossible to beat. Today I will be doing a hardcore nuzlocke challenge on Sacred Gold so let's see how it goes!

Do you think playing the game without a nuzlocke challenge is too hard of a challenge?
I really want to play a hack of HG/SS that fixes the level scaling and is more difficult, but I don't feel prepared to face like... Perfect IV/EV teams with the most optimal strategies
@@jaceybella1267 you might have to add your own rules to it like maybe just don’t be overlevelled and don’t use items. Just do whatever feels best from the start

For idea of challenge, Pokemon Radical Red, and Pokemon Emerald Kaizo in light Hardcore mode.

Light Hardcore mode:
(If possible can I have your Impressions on my Nuzlocke mode, ?) The challenge begin when you obtain Pokeball.
1 rule: If the pokemon is K.O by a Critical Hit (they are dead like in normal Nuzlocke)
2 rule: If a pokemon faint (not by a Critical Hit), you can only use it again, 1 other time, after the next important battle (Rival, Gym Leader, Team officer or leader, Elite 4 member, League champion or professor pokemon), if he faint during an important battle, you can use it not after the battle he faint, but after the next important battle.
3 rule: You can catch 1 pokemon by zone, if you k.o the pokemon you try to catch by Critical Hit, you can't catch pokemon in this zone, (you can choose, but he need to have more than 10% of encounter rate, if you want 1 with less than 10% encounter rate, he needs to be the 1 pokemon of the zone (like in a normal nuzlocke). If you find a shiny, without any method of shiny hunting you can catch it without restriction, same for legendary, but you can't use them in combat.
4 rule: You need to have 2-3 level less than the best pokemon of the next important battle, except in the League, where you need 7-8 level less than the league champion when beginning the League.
5 rule: You can't use item of the bag in battle, only held items.
6 rule: No hm slave, you need to use the pokemon, you catch them following the 3 rule !
7 rule: Exception for rule 3, you can catch other pokemon, if they are for trade with pnj in a zone, you have not catch a pokemon already. Gift pokemon count as catch pokemon, so if you have catch 1 in the zone already, the gift go to the PC, and can't be use.
8 rule: You can change the evolution by trade, by evolution by level or item, with Universal pokemon randomniser, but that is the only thing thing you can change with the randomniser !
9 rule: You can't transfer pokemon In from another game to the game you play in the light Nuzlocke.
You can transfer pokemon Out of the game you play in this challenge.
10 rule: No exploit, bug, Sequence break, Out of bonds, etc...
11 rule: Concerning move who boost your pokemon 100% of the time, or sabotage enemy pokemon or put status on enemy pokemon, or even yours, you can use them, yes but only one per battle, by 1 I mean: 1 boost, or 1 sabotage, or 1 status (enemy or yourself), not 1 of each.
12 rule: for the game who have them, no mega-evolution, no z-move, no dinamax, no teracrystallisation, or no hidden talent.
13 rule: You can only search the level of the best pokemon of each important battle, or where they are if you forget, for wild pokemon you can search there encounter rate, only.
When you catch your pokemon you can't reroll them for a better nature, shiny, or abilities.
Concerning Pokemon who are always at the same place, if you have not catch pokemon in the zone, you can catch and use them, if you have catch pokemon in this zone already, you can catch it, but you need to put it in the PC.
15 rule: If you catch a second time, a species you have already use in battle, you can't use the second member of that species i battle, He will go to the PC.
Good luck, In certain parts that is easier than a normal Nuzlocke, but in other that is more difficult.

im gonna take a shot in the dark and say that was unbeatable? faint attack id assume is always an OHKO, no accuracy debuffs matter, and it would probably always outspeed?
Though it sounds soul shattering, at least it makes sense. The one thing I and I bet many others who loved these games noticed was how under-utilized the Johto roster really was in Johto. It didn’t make sense how Houndour was relegated to Kanto. Or Skarmory.
Kinda why I like RSE somewhat more onwards. Fun as they were as my first intro to the games, GSC were too tied to Gen 1.
You know I'm going to actually lose my mind when Drayano drops Aurora Crystal (Sacred Gold v2). Like, genuinely, that will destroy my social life and I'll probably have to take days off work.

Kinda a clickbaity title if you wanted the hardest HGSS romhack that would be Sterling Silver. That's for really hardcore players. This game is quite easy since it gives you so many tools to work with
