@@scimbrelo Steph Curry? No sir. The system GS runs is based on what Steph does. The ball Movement and more importantly, player Movement is what makes what they do so dangerous...especially with solid players around him. His shooting skill level is so high, it consistently draws attention from the defense, even when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. On top of that, Steph has incredible ball handling skills (2nd only to Kyrie, imo, today) and can finish at the rim with either hand. Steve Kerr's system doesn't work without Steph and to a lesser extent, Klay. That's the foundation of what the Warriors do.

I say DNA! I’m the same age as his dad. True story: As a college student, I saw S. Carolina play Virginia Tech in the old Metro conference. I remember watching Dell play and literally telling my roommate that I have never seen anyone shoot a basketball like that! Dell could have his back to the basket and from long range in one motion jump, turn and shoot from long ranges and I swear it went in every time. The most amazing thing that I ever seen. He’d run along the baseline from corner to corner, …catch, jump, turn shoot .., money. The whole game whenever they needed a bucket. It didn’t seem real.

Not exactly the point here. Almost the opposite from this clip anyway. Interested in seeing the whole episode however. Because Gil was know for working hard and being in the gym getting up shots so his question was more of disbelief because of amount of shots he put up. More of a testament to genetics as all 3 Currys shoot well or a testament to perfect practice brings results which either can track back to Dell.

I think straight up it’s talent and hard work. -curry probably grows much more in confidence and ability with the same amount of shots any player would take, while also adding in these weird off balance shots and doing whatever. It’s unfortunate but talent will take you much higher with the same amount of work than someone with less talent. I bet there was probably someone as good as curry in shooting, but they didn’t work hard enough, and there’s hard workers who became decent shooters probably with more work than curry but, curry has a better ceiling and puts in the work.

Details! Every shot, same speed, even your misses has details on why! Where ball lands, rotation or not, on misses where ball hit rim. Form, emotionally connection during each drill. Energy percentage during workout! Mentally why and how to get better! It's a lot to study. #Kobe Mentality
