Oh man, just when I think RG has done the most amazing, creative and inspiring musical act- he tops it off with something even better. This one simply rocks- amazing cast of musical characters!
Very interesting to hear the differences between this set and the earlier set! I recorded let it ride from the earlier set the same day and Robert’s intro is a completely different idea. I Love what he did on this one
This was weird, overall I enjoyed it though. To be honest however, no way I would have checked this out without the second name. In fact, I only know a bit about the first through the second, via her "playing along with" podcast. I didn't know what to expect with this, and I have to admit, I skipped after 15 minute's in or so until Norah showed up.[just couldn't stay focused on that long instrumental] Don't misunderstand, I know Glasper is a considerable talent as are no doubt the members of the band with him, but way I see it this turned into a GIG when Norah showed up. As in it went from a show to a gig. Highlights for me, big Radiohead fan so hearing Norah do "Reckoner" was a quasi religious experience for me, the Q-Tip song was pretty neat as well. All in all this group of musicians really put a different kind of spin on pretty much anything I heard which I recognised. Oh and "Let it rides" a pretty cool track.
Wow, I didn't see that coming. But it worked.
I hope it feels as good as it sounds love. HugsB

I thought the intro (which I also recorded) was amazing, would love to hear what he did earlier. Would you mind sharing this one please?
