I feel bad for Kiyo. Mother Nene is sick and not around and his father Shabani keeps chasing him. Shabani has been segregating him from the troop. It’s difficult to watch because Kiyo, even though a gorilla, is still like a teenager.

The zoo occasionally posts photos or a clip of Nene on their website and UA-cam channel. Visitors cannot see or film her since her room is down in the basement.
This is not a family anymore...but since there's nowhere for Kiyo to go. They should separate them like they did with Nene...when the females and dad are outside, leave him inside, and vice versa. GL Rayan said today theres 3 cages in the basement....... That way it won't be annoying watching father chase son constantly.....
Nowadays, if Kiyomasa & Annie continued to wrestle with Nene, she might break her hip. Nene's bones are old , frail & difficult to heal. Nene is eating & enjoying her family visiting. I'm sure Nene doesn't miss people staring at her. We should allow Nene to enjoy her retirement. Thank God for the zookeepers that are taking good care of Nene!
Kiyo is not showing his strength, he is trying to cause conflict with Shabani by annoying him! Post the truth on your videos! The viewers don't enjoying watching Kiyo antics that upset the troop constantly. HE NEEDS TO BE KEPT APART FROM THE TROOP! A good set of eyes show the females don't want anything to do with Kiyo either!
Apart from the saying he needs to be in his own space everything else you said is a load of bullshit He is a young silverback and is acting like one, there's nothing malicious coming from him OR Shabani.
Kiyomasa & Gentaro are both teenagers with raging uncontrollable hormones. They both show off & provoke their father. Like it or not, the silverback is the boss. In captivity, the son is moved after he challenges the father. Hopefully, these teenagers are moved before someone is seriously injured.
