Im new to your channel, and I just wanna say... I appreciate everything you are doing. You showed me what I might be doing wrong, in the game, and you are explaining it in the easiest way, with example from beginners to pros. Basically people can learn from your channel everything about how to really play this game. No matter what rank do you have. My point is: i know there are lost of videos similiar to yours, but imo yours are the best.
u should probably mention that those run throws are not gonna work in matchmaking / 64 tick in case not everyone knows. probably a lot of learners watching your videos :D nicely done tho :)
@@lexpolis5266 its not about a problem its that grenades that you throw while walking / running, fly different than on a 128 Tick server so the lineups are no longer correct
@@c0refreAk. well i didin't really mean that. Like these guys who responded that this game is ridiculous are basically saying that 64tick is huge problem in game but it's just more worth and stable option
This is incredibly helpful for anyone putting together strats. Knowing the utility is one thing, but the explanations as to why you'd throw these nades over others is invaluable. Thank you for this awesome resource!
4:45 I like these smokes, but it's much easier to line up the grenade pin with that palm leaf before pulling the pin. With the fullscreen crosshair you'd almost have to turn your head to check the x and y alignment separately.
the formatting for this video is great. you speak decently quick, and the cuts are really quick. i'm stimulated from the audio, but the visual action is keeping me in tune. there are so many quick cuts that i'm not looking away. please take note of this. individuals such as myself can easily wander off into a different head space without this type of stimulation. you did very well with this video.
How i usually watch those videos: "uh this is a nice one. I gotta remember this" 2 hours later... "well I forgot the exact spot... Tbh I forgot on which map it was... FML"
After 400 hours of cs I _just_ realized that "monster" is called like this because there is literally a monster and you're walking right into it. Thanks voo 9:37
can we also get a guide for amateurs? like the how to play inferno was done. i like those best for my level of play. approximately here, approximately there... and they really end up working well. eventhough i am usually the only one throwing utils, while others force every round.
Great video as usual but tbh it's a bit unsatisfying that you explained some lineups while chose not to explain others (molotov for coffin, stairs smoke on mirage, ...). I know the main purpose was to show useful smokes instead of gimmicky ones but having lineups for each would be best of both worlds. The editing and camera work is really smooth and gets better each video! The overpass a "set piece" is fantastic!
3:10 why do arch smokes land so deep when it keeps the close left angle exposed when pushing middle? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of eliminating one angle when you have to worry about somebody tucked to the left supporting a lane player?
That guy tucked in the left is going to get 1 kill max, and he can't move out of that corner without exposing himself more to the push. It's such a risky position that it's not worth making a worse smoke (that may leave a gap) to deal with that possibility.
I wanna get back into CS:Go and these nades will definitely help doing so, but to anyone reading this: What do you recommend should I do after a year long pause? I feel like gamesense, timing and especially aim are going to be heavily affected.
Can people stop just randomly hating on Vertigo, there was no reason for you to randomly say it sucks and it kind of makes me mad when there are people like me who actually like it and all they hear is that non stop
Helpful video even though you zzzzoomed through the lineups, i had to put the video playback speed to x0.25 and i still couldn't figure some of them lol
You really should tell that leetify actually costs money and the free version is badly trimmed down version of it. It is not free to use not even as much as cs go is free to play
I rly like a smoke i found for T on mirage to smoke the A site (it basically blocks the space between the 2 boxes) why its good: - it blocks sight for everyone in CT and ticket - it will basically land on the people who hide behind those boxes at the site - they make it so you have to clear much less corners, you can pretty much treat the 2 boxes and smoke as 1 big entity - if you rush fast enough to the site, it can be great cover for the bomb planter - there is enough time for the thrower to run to ramp before the smoke lands, so you dont waste any of it
That smoke would only be good situationally. I suck at defending the A site on Mirage and if a team kept throwing a smoke inbetween the boxes i'd be thankful because then, as you said, they become 1 big entity and you can move between default and triple safely
The first reddit smoke... why would anyone even want that smoke deeper? Its terrible. If I see my opponents throw such a monster smoke the first thing i call as an igl is a monster pop cause apparently they want to gift us rounds.
It's meant to go deeper towards t-spawn, not closer to b so the cts have more space, not less. Combinated with an early flash you can deny any monster rush with just a single player
@@xXCookieXx98 The reddit clip clearly shows the smoke being thrown deeper into the tube. Look at it. And yes your explanation is reason why I said it's a terrible smoke.
@@jellygoo yeah but the reddit comment said 'deeper' (towards t), which as it now seems like we both agree on is better. But you said why would you want a deeper smoke, and that sounded like you were questioning the comment and not the shown smoke. I guess that was just a misunderstanding ✌️

13:42 shows an unnecessarily complex smoke that Voo himself showed us in his "How to Hold B on Overpass" video. Classic Voo

It is also possible to smoke top of connector on Mirage from T spawn for faster variations🔥
That inferno->ct smoke doesn't work with my jump bind.

How did Yekindar go ontop of the box so fast 2:19 ?
You have to keep spinning of the mousewheel until you get on top.

Vertigo is the best map, for casual and semi-competitive play at least.
I rly like a smoke i found for T on mirage to smoke the A site (it basically blocks the space between the 2 boxes)
why its good:
- it blocks sight for everyone in CT and ticket

- if you rush fast enough to the site, it can be great cover for the bomb planter
- there is enough time for the thrower to run to ramp before the smoke lands, so you dont waste any of it
People have been throwing that smoke for a while. The reason you don’t see it very often is that it makes it near impossible to take any map control.
