I'm from Pgh and knew of your dad but never met him. I was playing at a restaurant in New Orleans a few years ago (trumpet) and met you. You're great my friend.
My highschool performed Bye Bye Birde last spring I was in the pit playing trumpet. This brings back some memories. This year were doing Lucky Stiff and I'll be on horn cuz the horn player last year isn't doing it this year

Honestly I prefer Chet's breathy voice, but this guy is great too. In terms of trumpet playing, I'd say that Chet is more simplistic and melodic in his approach, as opposed to the more fluid bebop virtuosity on display here. Both great - just different styles
