Het guys. I just recently found your channel and want to tell you how impressed I am with your work. I also have a channel devoted to National Parks and other" national" sites so I tend to follow other peoples work. Im good friends with Randy, the creator of " Americas Parks" also. Gonna be nice to explore around your channel! Safe travels!
History is the word for this park. I am usually more of a fan of the backcountry and the natural history out there, but the Painted Desert Inn caught our attention for some time. It has such a great aesthetic from the Route 66 era. Maybe travel wasn't as fast or convenient as today's interstates, chain hotels, and strip malls, but that time in America certainly had character.
Oh boy! Gotta follow the script I suppose ....... regardless, that the source tree is staring at you from the horizon. ( It is the flattop mesa in the background . According to many researchers, the flattop mesas were created from cutting down the huge trees prior to fossilization. Why were they cut? The phoenicians cut them down to build their ships, housing, etc ) Not all this megaflora was cut down. Some of these trees were felled bcuz of the flood, thunderbolts, etc and are noted by their mountainous, jagged edges. ( Good examples can be found in Switzerland.)
I want to thank you guys you inspire me to explore National parks I have seen Grand Canyon and now I want to see even more of National park all over the world
Sefadine, thanks for following us on this journey. That's definitely our goal, to inspire people to get out there. Let us know what you think about our other episodes. We have a full episode about the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Hike if you care to watch: ua-cam.com/video/u6MDwc-URmU/v-deo.html
i am learning about Petrified Forest and this helped me so much with school and this is the best video I've found explained the most I've seen in any of his videos
so who cut the wood before it petrified? you can tell me the pefectly cut slabs developed like that without an ancient alien chainsaw somewhere in the picture
This .... is .... annoying .... the narrative is so horrible and typical of someone trying to be all edgy ... just show the wildlife and nature without the extreme overly dramatic voices sounding so fake. I can’t ...
Sorry to disappoint Kri. We really appreciate the feedback and it'll definitely help us in figuring out better formats for viewers. Have a great rest of the day
What a rock solid proof of Noah’s flood that buried almost everything all of sudden. However, there are still way too many people nowadays are scared to death facing it. Too many cowards.
Here's a list of great things to do at Petrified Forest National Park: www.nps.gov/pefo/planyourvisit/things2do.htm

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Nature isn't the best artist, God is. God made the world, so he's the artist.

I thought that area was covered in shallow seas. Couldn't it be salt water clams
I believe it’s river long time ago
Love the videos thanks guys!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Must a been one hell of a flood .
Looks like a very interesting place.
I found The Petrified forest and painted desert more enjoyable than the Grand canyon

Wow guys, your videos are Discovery Channel quality! Call them and make some money!
Maybe one day!
Thank you so much for watching!
You guys are so close and so far away... It was the glaciers that broke the tree up from where they were standing..
