tmn5647382910, they used to be a TV program on Sat. AM, and were awarded a national excellence award for their work, and were on for 6 seasons. Then the network, in their dubious wisdom, awarded them by canceling the program a few seasons ago. Talk about idiocy!
You guys are a rare gem! I've found your channel recently, and I am hooked. I am moving from one coast to another, exploring some parks on the way... and your videos are helping me to prepare for my next adventures, IMMENSELY! Keep up with the amazing work!
There is quite a lot crammed into that corner of South Dakota. Rapid City is a cool little city, and the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site is an informative part of the Nat. Park Service's mission to document human history. A favorite picture of mine is of our campsite in the backcountry, a little tent in a sea of prairie ringed by some of the badlands formations.
I got curious as to which of the 4 bighorn species you bumped into. I knew it's not Dall sheep (Alaska), nor Stone sheep (Canadian Rockies), but wasn't sure about the remaining 2 (desert bighorn and Rocky Mtn. bighorn); it turns out it's the latter. I've seen 2 and 4, but never the other 2.
Rock the Park it went very the badlands were amazing and I went to the black hills as well which were more beautiful than I could have imagined thanks for the awesome video again !
No. Custer’s Last Stand took place in Montana Territory - Battle of the Little Bighorn. There’s a national monument for the site in Southeastern Montana. Custer State Park was named for the same George Armstrong Custer. He led an expedition that discovered gold there in 1874 - two years before he died at Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Badlands National Park has a lot of Mesozoic marine life fossils, but no dinosaur fossils. This area was under the Western Interior Seaway.

Which cave tour was harder. The mammoth cave crawl or the crystal cave tour. I've done the mammoth cave crawl tour but I've never been to crystal cave
