Karen is in the desert and waters with EPSON salt: 1 tablespoon per gallon of water mixed (with worm tea every other week). Sometimes she waters once a month this way. By "showers" she means a mist/spray shower because we are in the desert.
You ask questions in their Facebook group, or email the President. Also here's specific info for winterizing in desert here: www.cvplumeriasociety.org/winterizing.html You may consider buying cuttings from someone local or from a similar climate, because those trees will handle the heat better!
I think Karen’s unknown plumeria is named ‘Saigon Moon’ I wish I could post its photo here. Any suggestion to where I can send her the pic of Saigon Moon ?
She uses worm castings and worm tea from VermisTerra with her plant foods. The natural plant hormones in worm castings increase fertility = more flowers. This is the same for all flowers.
Hello Jacobe, yes plumeria grow well in the desert. They do require special care and there is a group that can help teach you. www.cvplumeriasociety.org. You can join the Facebook group to ask questions/ The next meeting is in a few weeks via Zoom.
Hi Carlos- Karen doesn't sell these, but she does donate cuttings to the local Plumeria Society in Coachella Valley for fundraisers or as raffle prizes!
