This shot doesn't really show it as well as in the game when it's more 3D, i always loved the Glass shield in Oblivion, i thought it was beautiful for its' time
Skyrim's setting is pretty much ok, as well as the majority of the visuals and music. But it's just like a hot girl who's everything you've ever dreamed of, but with mental abilities of a 4 year old
Shields Preferences: Glass: Morrowind, skyrim Leather: Oblivion Orcish: Morrowind, skyrim Daedric: Oblivion, Skyrim (Dude, WTF with Morrowind😅) Ebony: Skyrim (But why the hell didn't they put the gold decorations on it?) Imperial: Morrowind, Skyrim Iron: Skyrim Golden Saint: ......What the hell? Can someone tell me if it's a Mod or what DLC it comes in? Steel: Morrowind Dwarven: Morrowind, Skyrim Spell Breaker: Oblivion, Skyrim Bonemold: Skyrim Chitin: Both Nordic: Skyrim Dragonscale: Skyrim (Curious, I didn't know that in previous TES installments there were already dragon-based objects)
Morrowind Armor needs a remake, because it feels that the newer each game, the worse models are. Oblivion and Morrowind armors, (and everything else) is better than skyrim
Agreed. Morrowind was pretty outlandish, but still a believable mix of fantasy and practicality. Oblivion, for the most part, looked pretty much down-to-earth with most of its armors, except for certain sets. It wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't half-bad. But Skyrim, oh, Skyrim. It feels like this type of fantasy that is... Generic? Some of its designs are very cool, but some are just plain tasteless, but at the same time overrated. I cannot bring myself to like what it did.
I wouldn't say all of Skyrim's are bad. Spellbreaker looks good as does Dawnbreaker. Some of its armor is also good. Saying all of it is worse than those in Oblivion and Morrowind is just nostaliga bias. Oblivion's glass armor looks like its made of cheap plastic.
@@Rodiacreed yeah, Oblivion glass does look quite acidy, but overall, the design and structure itself doesn't bother me too much. It looks feasable. And I also agree that there are good sets in Skyrim as well. Elven armor is probably one of my favorites, Dwemer is also pretty solid, better than Oblivion's, but Dwemer aesthetic generally feels different in Skyrim.
The last one is Dragonscale Shield. My bad.
can you give the name of the modification with the shield of the golden saint?
Don't forget that Morrowind also had Tower Shield versions of most shields as well

Glass | Morrowind > everything else.
Bethesda is king of getting worse instead of better
Personal preferences:
MW: orcish, daedric, imperial, steel, bone, chitin
OB: leather, ebony, dwarf
SK: glass, iron, saint
Tie: spellbreaker, nordic(eugh), dragon
Shield of the Golden Saint in Morrowind? How much Morrowind had never seen him, the Golden Saints always wore Daedric shields.
Not always, they could spawn with scale, orcish or ebony
It’s from a mod
@@BarenziahSimp mod name?
Morrowind hands down had the most impressive shields.
Needs more Roman Imperial Legionary scutum
do daedric artifacts
OK
Glass shield looks so pretty in Morrowind
Glass as a whole peaked in Morrowind

Since when does skyrim have leather shields without mods?
These videos made me realize how generic and boring skyrim and oblivion setting are, we need a remake of Morrowind

There's actually a dragonbone cuirass in Morrowind which was clearly the inspiration for the armor in Skyrim.
i actually really like morrowinds daedric shield lol i think the demonic face is badass same with the helmet that also had 3 variations
Morrowind: a shield
Skyrim: a shield how a video game designer imagines it, so it's not "bOrInG"
Oblivion: a rug?
Morrowind: a shield

OK consoomer
Something about the daedric shield in Oblivion just screams sex, never liked the Skyrim version

I disagree. I think Skyrim has great designs
I respect your opinions but you are letting your nostalgia goes a bit too far there.
