The armor designs in Morrowind generally have more personality than the other games. I prefer the Skyrim and Oblivion version of Daedric and Dwemer armor though
It's interesting that Oblivion had the most realistic armor designs; it kinda fits with the changes they made to Cyrodiil - making the landscape more realistic and traditional fantasy than the lore description. I kinda wish they had kept the Oblivion armor and weapon designs going into Skyrim and ESO or at least kept that theme of realism and simplicity. The armor and weapons in Skyrim were kinda bad, but ESO is a whole other level of ludicrous.
One thing I sort of disliked about armor options between all the games, but more so Skyrim. I didn't like that most armors were useless endgame. As in it's pretty easy to surpass Oricish, Ebony, Glass, etc into Dragon Bone or Daedric and never touch the mid tier armors altogether. This is probably because I also always built my armor and power leveled smithing too fast to ever be concerned with mid armors, but it still wouldve been nice for more options. There was the same issue with Daedric artifacts, why would I use a steel battleaxe with a mid enchantment when I can just make something way better. Looking at you Clavicus Vile.

Everyone understood that this "glass" was not window-glass but a kind of hard, shard-like, ceramic substance, and the look of it put it on places that made sense for a normal person (that has no clue about armor in reallife), but in oblivion and skyrim the glass is much more "glass-like" and i cringe when i think of the person in the armor getting hit with something like a sword or morningstar....
Sincerely, from a history enthusiast and designer standpoint, i like oblivion and morrowind's armor designs much better than Skyrim, even though skyrim is my favorite game out of these.
The armor designs in Morrowind generally have more personality than the other games. I prefer the Skyrim and Oblivion version of Daedric and Dwemer armor though
Everything in Morrowind has more personality than the later games frankly!
Morrowind Ebony Armor gives me nightmares
How do you get the horns on the helmet with iron ?
didnt know the oblivion daedric armor was cool like that
Imperial armor in Oblivion is so iconic. I really didn't like how imperial armor in Skyrim looks exactly like Roman armor
Same
That's how its supposed to look
@@poinendev2932it’s supposed to be Greek Spartan, genies
@@bendythedmon that was only in Oblivion, every other game was Roman which makes sense considering its based off the Roman Empire.
How did we go from oblivions dark brotherhood armor to skyrim. I was so disappointed. Thank god for mods.
Nothing cant beat dark broterhood armor from Morrowind 🧐
It's interesting that Oblivion had the most realistic armor designs; it kinda fits with the changes they made to Cyrodiil - making the landscape more realistic and traditional fantasy than the lore description.
I kinda wish they had kept the Oblivion armor and weapon designs going into Skyrim and ESO or at least kept that theme of realism and simplicity. The armor and weapons in Skyrim were kinda bad, but ESO is a whole other level of ludicrous.
Well ,as we know from ESO , each body armor has different style and design depending of race culture
I actually prefer the Morrowind Orcish Armor.
I like most of these, they all have their own uniqueness to them... Well, except for a bunch of Oblivion ones, they look kinda goofy, not gonna lie.
Oblivion armor consistently makes your character look fat
Ik it’s probably more realistic than form fitting armor but man it just looks way better
@@jordonmuskego3098 well made plate was historically quite form fitting. modern buhurt/old tournament armor has skewered the way many view medieval armor.
