Thank you for this very detailed description of the piecing for potato chip blocks. I am a crumb block lover so I loved the crumb version.
I follow Brenda and love potato chip blocks because there are so many ways to lay them out! Thank you Kim, for showing how you layout & sew these blocks. It's nice to see how different people do their blocks. Everyone does things a little different and everyone learns differently too.
It’s nice to see how different quilters approach this block!
Thanks
Thanks so much for your support of the Chatterbox Quilts' UA-cam channel. I appreciate it!
from Gerry- I have made 3 of these quilts. The first one was with the block you demoed, the next was the white ring around the center and the third was with the same 4.5" square in each center. The one I'm working on now will form a star at the intersection of 4 blocks. You make a smaller block with just 2 rounds. The bottom right side piece is white and snowballed at the top. This one is my favorite. My rectangles are 2.3x2.5. God bless.
❤ I like to use 2 1/2" X 4 1/2" chips.
I'm just now starting one. I've never made a quilt. I hope this is an easy one
Great use of fabric and I love your hair!
Thanks!
Thank you. I enjoyed the tutorial. I'd never looked closely at a potato chop block and had developed a wrong idea of how they are sewn. Appreciate your clarifying the steps for me.❤
❤🎉hello from Lynnwood Washington
Love this quilt! Thank you.
just lovely, n thank you 😊
Thanks for this idea!
You're welcome!
This block really is addictive!!!
Hi Kim! Thanks so much for the shout out! I hope you have a great week ahead!
You are so welcome!
Use small scale novelty fabrics, to make an 'I Spy" quilt!
And can be made into a whole quilt!
Interesting, thanks.
