Life on a wee 5 acre farm on the Beautiful Ards peninsula around 100 years ago ! Sheep on a shoestring video, often wondered how life was lived in a tiny place like this so I asked John if he would tell me about it !.

I remember visiting the Miss Curran’s as a child with my mum and dad Robert and Jean Birch of Bishopmills (mentioned in the video) on a Sunday afternoon about 50 odd years ago!

Seems to have been the place where everyone called for a chat, John was telling me that his folks did embroidery work for the Queen and that he had an H.R.H. certificate acknowledging their work .
