Over my short lifetime working as a hedge cutting contractor you pick up stories from the older generation farmers and this is one about a Mass rock on a ancient old lane that I often trimmed.

Loving the nose brother 😢😮
The loader caught on a rotten branch and pinged it up into the air and landed on me hooter ! . I hope you are not spying on me Big Sis ! 👃👀
Good video Ivan tidy bit of digger work nice bit of ploughing too 👍
Beautiful crumbly soil on that hill but very steep down from the turbine !.
That was a great episode and thanks to Jim Galloway. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the last photo of the intro reel. The couple getting married (on the left hand side) are my Mum & Dad, Jim & Maimie Filson. I don’t remember who his best man was, but the Maid of Honour was Helen Bowden, my mums cousin. I’m proud to say that my Dad also was stationed at RAF Ballyhalbert for a period during WW2 and flew Spitfires mainly during the conflict.
Thanks David, the best man was Samuel Mckee our next door neighbour ... I intended to cover your dad's story, if you would like it told of course , if so you can let me know. I have a few stories of Samuel McKees to do relating his war time memories around Glastry which were recorded when he was still with us ! Regards Ivan🛩 🛩
@@TheLowcountryboys Yes, I’d love you to do my Dad’s story. Feel free to contact me.
13:02 Two dodgy characters, by the look of their faces they're scheming something....
They should be on a wanted poster outside the sheriff's office ! A pair o cowboys ... 🤠🤠
Another good video thanks. The wee calf was really cute. Hopefully no tractors got damaged or it would be an expensive day out for the owner.
🚜 no tractors damaged just pride ... 🐮
@@TheLowcountryboys Lol
Fine video nice field of oats hope the weather settles
👍⛈lots of rain this morning ... but the oats are in !
Interested to know if anyone in Co Down, is growing Black oats (Avena strigosa) variety. Often used for used for horse feed nowadays. I’ve to buy them in from Norway for my porridge.
I'll ask around 🧐
@@TheLowcountryboys thanks 🙏🏼
Perhaps a thermal breaking the contrail. Are there breeds of sheep that don't itch? I have some wool clothes including a hat that itches too much to wear next to the skin. Merino is wonderful but afaik they can't cope with 'our' weather. Great to get an intelligent tour of the factory !
I don't know about the wool itch question but I will ask the girl at the wool Depot and see if she knows, if I wear a hat of any material it makes me itch, about the jet contrail .. again I don't know but like to hear all theories !
Interesting video thanks. The fella was very fortunate. It obviously wasn’t his time to leave this earth. Certainly a miracle when you look at the tractor mangled in the field. The Living God’s Hand of protection on his life.
Yip you never know what a day can bring !👍
Unbelievable story and how that man survived...miracle alright
and how he got out of that wee gap !
up to date !!! I found your channel at the beginning of the week and have watched all 186 episodes and thoroughly enjoyed them. You and your good lady always have a smile on your faces and you obviously love your livestock the way you are with them.
Life is good .... most of the time !😀
Another great video, Ivan😊

Good video that chap is so fortunate to have survived that accident with no serious injuries there has been to many farmers round the country haven't been as fortunate PS that's some combine👍
You would need to sell a few hoggets to scratch up the deposit 🐑🐑🐑 👍
God was looking after that man that day
certainly was !
thats the sort of history they should teach in school. Fascinating !
Yip ...👍
That fella can plough.
He was a bit nervous so I opened the field up for him and then let him took over !😉😁
Another good video thanks. The lady knows her job and is very knowledgeable about the wool industry. Jeremiah ch 33v20-26 - the covenant with day and night. Trying to break the covenant that keeps things in line with what the Living God Created - Genesis ch 1+2.
Geoengineering
Chemtrails, GEO Engineering

Love it Ivan 🥰
There is a great story about Castle hill I must look at it some time !
Ivan, when we were clearing our back garden we found a piece of an RAF cup. We were told that the pilots were billeted in our house. True enough, upstairs there are four small ‘rooms’ with slatted areas for we presume, beds all off the main room. Strange layout. I’d love to know for sure. Loved this interview. Such a pity they didn’t share names and contact details!
Apparently a Major Moffat leaved in your house ! 👍
@@TheLowcountryboys Wow!
Anyone looking for a few hoggets .. 🐑🐑🐑 we have some for sale !💰💰

Have been to Mr. Fulton but my wallet was suffering from malnutrition !🤕
@@TheLowcountryboys I thought he would be keen to deal with you as your videos would be good free advertising for him
Boys oh, the hard life of a farmer, lots of holidays, time to dander on the beach and standing about watching other people work, never mind trying to talk to the animals!!
