The nemesis system is so cool. Every orc is unique so you can play the game for an infinite amount of time and meet new characters. The choices actually make a difference as well, you can make a level 1 orc kill you so many times he becomes an overlord with his own army.
You should react to Shadow of war The orc tribe trailers. It really gives you a in depth look at the variety of orcs this game gives you. Just a suggestion ofc
You are probably talking about "The Lord of the Rings: War in the North". You get to travel the northern parts as a Trio (Human Ranger, Elfen Mage, Dwarven Warrior) in the same time frame that the Original Story takes place
We actually found the original trailer and it looks like you can choose but both choices brings you to their website instead of like a different UA-cam video with the outcome 🙃
I remember when this video came out. It was on their website and the official channel. There was a whole little story you can play and yes you get to make the choices. This is probably a video which shows all the outcomes.
Love shadow of war (and mordor for that matter). Might be good suggestions to play if time permits. Feel like you guys would get some great laughs from the nemesis system in game.
The gameplay is also unique, with orc captains all having different strengths and weaknesses. Altho it can be a bit annoying if you accidentally let an ally bleed out and he comes back from death several times to exact his revenge.
So, cool thing about this game is that there's an online feature where you can avenge other players that have died to Orcs/Ologs in their world. You can either brand(shaming which has a 50/50 chance of making them deranged or turned into a maniac), kill them, or you can even recruit them so that they're on your side. Another feature is Online Conquests, which lets you attack other player's forts by going to their world. It's really unique, cause you get to see what kind of followers they have and if you like a certain one, you can recruit them and have them as your bodyguard, a warchief(who defend capture points when you're attacked by other players), or as an overlord. As someone stated before, there are moments where you can be betrayed by your own followers, even your own bodyguard at times. You won't even know that they'll betray you since it'll happen randomly. But, there's also a chance where an orc won't betray, just tell you that they've come back to serve you and then run off while giggling like a child, which is pretty funny. Each orc/olog can belong to a different faction, or in this case, a tribe. There's marauder, machine, mystic, feral, dark, warmonger, and terror, with two new ones called outlaw and slaughter. Regarding as to who you make overlord and depending on what tribe they belong to, will change the way your fort looks like. Along with tribes, there's also classes: beastmaster, marksman, assassin, trickster, berserker, destroyer, commander, tank, tracker, and slayer. There's also moments where a follower will pop-up out of nowhere with an enemy grunt who might have information you could use to figure out what an enemy orc/olog is weak against or bring you a grunt that has loot on them. There are moments, thanks to the Nemesis system, where an orc will come back with certain changes to them regarding as to how they died. If an orc died being poisoned, they come back horribly disfigured all over. If they died by being burned, then they'll come back with scorch marks on them. There are moments where a shamed orc captain will embrace the mark you left on them and have a new titled The Unashamed. There's also orcs who can raise the dead due to the necromancer ability they have. It's really rare to run into an orc or even an olog with that ability. There's even key moments where a follower who died will come back looking different, for example, The Nameless/Forgotten. They will get these titles if you're unable to save them in time before they bleed out. It's a shame that WB Studios almost ruined the reputation of Monolith Studios, the gaming company that made Shadow Of Mordor/War, with a dumb decision that they did. For some reason, the expansion packs were made free here in the states, but charged those not in the States a hefty sum to get the expansions. Monolith had to apologize for WB Studio's mistake and made the expansions free for everyone.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames it really is fun. I've done a total of 3-4 different playthroughs and I always meet an orc I've never run into from a previous playthrough. Also, regarding the expansions that come with the game, Blade Of Galadriel and Desolation of Mordor, all take place either during the last moments of the game or a during the segment of the main game called "Shadow Wars". Shadow Wars are basically siege defense missions, but they're endless. Even if you lose a fort, you'll be able to retake it once you rebuild your army, along with weakening the fort that is under enemy control.
The Ranger is Talion he uses the power of a different ring to fight against Mordor with there own troops he is the reason Mordor didn’t spill out to middle earth, he is doing it for vengeance since he was a guard at the black gate the orks came and killed his wife and son.
Ah Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War. It's basically what happened if the Batman Arkham Games made Legolas(except it's Talion, the Captain Ranger of the Gondor) a feared unkillable one-man army to slaughter the Uruks in your path. And it's hella fun because of the Nemesis System, it's amazing.
Its crazy how the main actor sounds just like Talion. Cant forget to credit the orcs as well probably the best practical effects I've seen in a live action to date
Briefly about how I played it: I killed the commander of the Orcs by cutting off his arm, he came with an iron stump, cut off his body from his legs, he came back sewn, pierced his head, he came back with a piece of iron on his head, cut off his head, he came back with a sewn-on head, killed him with plague flies, he came back rotten and with the effect of poisoning on weapons, burned him, he came back with burnt knives, trampled him, he came back with new bones, recruited, he he died from a simple archer and did not return
This game is one of my favorite, you can easily get lost in it just chasing after different orcs and trying to recruit really cool characters. I accidentally put 350 hours into the game without even realizing it 😅
Also the ring he uses has the soul of an elf that helped souron make his ring but made his own but died leaving his soul in the ring when talion finds it
Minor correction: the ring was forged by both Talion(the human or as Orcs call us, Tark) who shares his body with Celebrimbor after a certain moment in the first game that has them join forces. They don't make the ring until the end of Shadow of Mordor. The ring only allows them to dominate orcs, summon bodyguards and other stuff.
The nemesis system was a huge game changer, it's only a shame Warner Bros. went 'This is our product and you can't use it.' the nemesis system could've changed sand box games completely. As people have said every orc has a unique personality, but more than that they gain and lose strengths and weaknesses depending on what you do to them. Hell even the nameless grunts can appear again as soldiers you have attacked. It causes the game to keep you guessing, cause you never if that one arc you threw off a cliff or set on fire would come back seeking revenge. The awesome bit about the game is even after you've beaten it, you can keep playing without having to worry about what happens next. You can develop the perfect orc leader but you have to be wary of betrayal at all times. The game is immensely fun and well worth it if you wanna see the patterns of everything happening.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Sadly no they haven't, it's been restricted to Shadows of Mordor and Shadows of War, which is a shame cause if it was publicly released it would really create a new wave of sandbox games. Love this trailer so much. I love both middle earth shadow of mordor and shadow of war. Played and finished both. As someone who's fan of lord of the rings! Must definitely play this game, which has 2 parts. It's really worth it.
So fun fact about this trailer, according to the stats the majority of people who watched it chose to save their orc pal instead of going to fight the other one, and if I remember right I believe the majority also chose to make Mogg (the orc you save) their bodyguard. I always liked his speech the most as the bodyguard. "Where you go, I go. Never will you walk alone." If you find yourself a loyal bodyguard to fight by your side in Shadow of War, that speech rings truer than any other. Cause a good bodyguard will fight at your side, and save your life in key moments. There's no stronger bond between an Uruk and their blood-brother, and I always see my bodyguards in game as that. We watch each other's backs, save the other's ass if things go wrong, and we beat the tar out of all our enemies.
Talion (the guy you play) was a Ranger Captain of the Black Gate guarding the Rest of the World from Mordor. After some of Saurons most powerful minions took the gate and killed him and his family he was resurrected by the ghost of Celebrimbor (the same guy who was tricked into helping Sauron make the rings). Now he’s immortal and basically acts as Anti-Sauron. Your choices don’t affect the story itself, but they make their own story. Uruks you kill will come back from the Dead and remember exactly what you did. Their appearance will change and they will reference your previous encounters. They will also LEARN from them and improve. Example: I killed a guy by poisoning him to death. Later he came back with puss and blisters oeuvre his face and he told me how the poison couldn’t kill him and now he was immune to poison. This can drag on forever. If you want a good look at it I suggest ”Tear of Grace‘s“ Shadow of Mordor & Shadow of war series. Kruk Bloodaxe and Prak Jaws( Prak often being called ”Bane“ in titles) are the peak of the Nemesis system.
I forgot how the story ended in the second game. I remember how I didn't exactly like it because it sorta changed the lore (but then again this story isn't cannon anyway so I guess it's fine). Also, tears of grace was super funny.
@@kristopherhayes486 Celebrimbor betrayed Talion because the New Ring was corrupting him. Shadow of Mordor and shadow of war is definitely the best modern day lord of the ring games to play. Although it would had been nice if shadow of war didn’t add a difficulty setting🤔
I loved the nemesis system that was introduced in these games, it really made enemy and friendly encounters so much more unique when you could be betrayed by your own uruks or enemies you thought you had killed return either through necromancy or getting stitched together like a metal patchwork.
I still remember my nemesis. It was a machine savage I shamed and he went crazy early on, and as such kept getting stronger by kicking my ass every time we met, and because he was crazy he kept butchering his own other captains before I could brand them. Uruk was a menace to mordor.
@@itsCaptainEli what did you mean by "he was butchering his own other captains?" I was a little confused by your sentence and the story sounds interesting.
@@kristopherhayes486 so, since he was crazed he had tons of things to drive him into a frenzy, one was hatred of cowardice. So when a captain broke and I could brand him, he would would go into a frenzy and start attacking blindly, making him usually kill them first, or a little after I branded the captain I wanted.
@@itsCaptainEli that makes more sense now. He would pretty much kill everything-- ally or enemy; anyone who stayed behind and not run away would pretty much die. I could only imagine the nightmare that was the orc you fought. Did you ever kill him or send someone after him?
@@kristopherhayes486 yeah I ended up taking him down as one of the last things I ever did. I never could do a thing in that region without him showing up and wrecking shit, so I basically hid from him whenever he showed up for a while. Although he did resist death a few times. It ended up taking me so long because he always had a firm lead on me in combat strength for a while, he literally one hit me and basically anybody else.
The Ranger's name is Talion, he was killed as part of a ritual by Black Numenoreans alongside his wife and son. He's only "alive" because he was possessed by the wraith spirit of Celebrimbor, who forged the Rings of Power. Talion wants revenge for his family, and Celebrimbor seeks to sieze control of Mordor as the "Bright Lord", a rival to Sauron. The pair forge a New Ring which is keeping Talion "alive", and can be used to take over the minds of Orcs and other creatures.
That’s Talion the Ranger of the Black Gate shadow of war is the second game shadow of Mordor is the first game but Shadow Of War your choices really really impact the way your Uruks think about you like not paying attention to them letting them die hitting them to much etc

Hey Ennard, we unfortunately can’t reply to every comment 🤗 Also, we try to keep stuff on topic on the videos we post. This keeps the conversation open to the whole community that is excited about that particular video. We understand you are very interested in Slenderman and what you have to say about him is obviously important to you. This just isn’t the forum for that. Have you tried talking to friends, family or even a teacher about your concerns on Slenderman? We wish we could be more invested in the story but it would be dishonest for us to pretend to be. We do however love the daily fight battles you ask us and hope there are other reaction videos we make that interest you as well. 🤗😀

The shadow of war announcement trailer is much better than this. I’m not a big fan of “choose your story” type. See how many endings a 5 min short film has, I want a story like “no matter what you do in the game this is the inevitable outcome”
Also I'm trying to stop thinking about Slenderman but everytime I go on UA-cam it gives me stuff to do with slenderman and slenderman in the thumbnails so when I see the thumbnails I'm like "FOR REAL" because I'm trying my absolute hardest to not think about slenderman which is hard enough as it is so in my mind when I see the thumbnails in my mind I say "THIS ISN'T HELPING"😕😕😕
UA-cam recommends more stuff the more you click. Maybe delete your entire search history on your browser? And or you could create a new UA-cam account so you aren’t tempted and UA-cam won’t recommend you stuff right away 🙂

It was a free song on UA-cam library and since it was short and catchy there are several other channels that use it. We didn’t know that when we chose it, but been using it for so long now not sure we could change it 🤗
It is a very good game, in the trailer it tries to transmit those small decisions that you as a player can make and depending on how you act the game will change, in my opinion it needs a cooperative mode and put aside the single player
I don't mind if you don't see all of my comments, also I'm pretty sure it's impossible for anyone to be more interested in Slenderman than me so don't worry also I know and understand that you can't reply to every single comment because well there can be a lot of comments on videos for example I have seen a video UA-cam with like 500 hundred thousand comments😁😁😁

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yep and it get better for 2 things you do, find the other enemy that know the stronger enemy's weakness such as fear of fire, fear of bees, or death by arrow in the head because of soft head. Also if you beat it, you get better a powerful loot gear
Shadow of Mordor and shadow of war is definitely the best modern day lord of the ring games to play. Although it would had been nice if shadow of war didn’t add a difficulty setting🤔
😎🤟
Shadow of Mordor , Shadow of War & the third game in the trilogy are in the 50 years gap between The Hobbit trilogy and Lord of the Rings trilogy.
There is a third game coming or already out 🤔
I loved the nemesis system that was introduced in these games, it really made enemy and friendly encounters so much more unique when you could be betrayed by your own uruks or enemies you thought you had killed return either through necromancy or getting stitched together like a metal patchwork.
It ended up taking me so long because he always had a firm lead on me in combat strength for a while, he literally one hit me and basically anybody else.
jtmachinema shadow of mordor rap explains alot for the first game
Hadn’t heard of that one before 😀
The game you played almost sounds like "lord of the rings: conquest".
We found out it was War in the North 🙂
The Ranger's name is Talion, he was killed as part of a ritual by Black Numenoreans alongside his wife and son. He's only "alive" because he was possessed by the wraith spirit of Celebrimbor, who forged the Rings of Power. Talion wants revenge for his family, and Celebrimbor seeks to sieze control of Mordor as the "Bright Lord", a rival to Sauron.
The pair forge a New Ring which is keeping Talion "alive", and can be used to take over the minds of Orcs and other creatures.
Thanks for the quick rundown of Talion 😊
Well, not just the ring, Celebrimbor is also keeping him alive. The ring just enhances the power much further than what Celebrimbor could do
Who do you think would win in a battle chucky from child's play, freddy Krueger from a nightmare on elm street or Jason from Friday the 13th
Jason
That’s Talion the Ranger of the Black Gate shadow of war is the second game shadow of Mordor is the first game but Shadow Of War your choices really really impact the way your Uruks think about you like not paying attention to them letting them die hitting them to much etc
Okay so then I definitely only played the first one 🙂
Awesome trailer reactions Ken and Bethany these games look awesome 😎
Thanks, Jeff! ☺️🤗🥰🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames you're welcome 👍
And yes I will keep you guys updated with Morgan
The ranger is called talion
Thanks! 🙂
You guys should watch some pit fights or all uruks executions
Could be a good fight night Friday 🤔🙂
Who do you think would win in a battle leatherface from the Texas chainsaw massacre or pennywise from the original IT 1990 TV series
Pennywise
the shadow of war cinematic trailers is also incredible , if you could react to it , it would be awesome
We plan to watch more trailers from the game 😊
Hello guys so glad you enjoyed the video its the actually the second one of the series the first one is shadow of mordor :)
That’s the one I played then. 😊😀
YESSS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
😎🤟🥳
this video was interactive when it came out, but youtube removed that functionality, so now it just looks weird, that's there's long pause
Should definitely check out the ads.
We plan to check out more for the game 😀
Also on your star wars jedi fallen order trailer reaction there was a comment I made why I love slenderman as a villain and hate him as a villain at the same time which you haven't replied to I'm not trying to rush you 😁😁😁
Hey Ennard, we unfortunately can’t reply to every comment 🤗 Also, we try to keep stuff on topic on the videos we post. 🤗😀
Even though I'll be getting Christmas presents my best Christmas present would be if Morgan gets out of the mental health hospital before Christmas and spends Christmas with her family I'm a teenager by the way, also that would make me feel wayyyyyyyy better😁😁😁🌠🌠🌠
this was a pretty good game...it got a little grindy toward the end of it tho...but the story was good...I do recommend you play it.
Thanks, Shieldwall! 🙂
Also react to the nemesis system of the game since it is incredible and I hope you react more to this game since it is one of my favorites and I have more than 500 hours to this and 1 although I recommend this one more
Played Shadow of Mordor and had a ton of fun with it so playing this and reacting to more sounds good to us 😀🥳🥳
theres this one game "sons of the forest" coming out next year and its third trailer released yesterday. maybe you could react to the three trailers. its a survival horror game. sequel to 2014s "the forest"
We have Sons of the forest on our request list to check out some time 😅
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames nice
Also with the horror movie cypher/rap battle it does have slenderman in but it doesn't make me think about him also I'm super excited for you guys to react to the horror movie characters cypher/rap battle also I've just realized how many comments I've just made super sorry for that
🤗
Yay finally some shadow of war! 😄
🥳🥳
If you play this game please play Middle-Earth Shadow Of Mordor first then play this game since Middle-Earth Shadow Of War is the sequel to Shadow Of Mordor. Also the voice actors for Shadow Of Mordor and Shadow Of War are some of the greatest voice actors of all time in video games Talion is Voiced by Troy Baker(Joel from The Last Of Us and Last Of Us Part 2, Sam Drake from Uncharted 4 A Thief's End and Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Jack Mitchell from Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare, and other games), BlackHand Of Sauron is Voiced by Nolan North(Nathan Drake from Uncharted 1-4, David from The Last Of Us, and other games) Ioreth(Shadow Of Mordor)and Eltariel(Shadow Of War) is Voiced by Laura Bailey(Abby from The Last Of Us Part 2, Abigail "Fetch" Walker in Infamous Second Son and Infamous First Light, Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, CatWoman in Batman: The Telltale Series, SuperGirl in Injustice 2, Black Widow in numerous Marvel Projects and Mary-Jane Watson in Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 and other games) Queen Marwen is Voiced by Claudia Black(Chloe Frazier Uncharted 2-3 and The Lost Legacy and other games)
Thanks for giving us more info on vivid actors and for the heads up on playing Shadow of Mordor first 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames no problem I have the standard edition of the game and I got it from GameStop but the guy didn't have an regular case so he gave me the steel book edition case instead
Super cool!
😎🤟🤩
The shadow of war announcement trailer is much better than this. I’m not a big fan of “choose your story” type. See how many endings a 5 min short film has, I want a story like “no matter what you do in the game this is the inevitable outcome”
Different strokes for different folks I guess 🤗
I love this game
😎🤟🥳
Great video! You should react to Kingdom come: Deliverance (a very underrated game in my opinion)
Have it in our request list to check out eventually 😇
Unfortunately you can't bring your nemesis or follower from shadow of mordor to war now😕
Could you when game first started 😯 That would’ve been cool 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yeah
For some reason I though this was a trailer for Lord of the rings: Rise to war. None the less I am excited for this game
Is that a good LoTR game? 🤔
You have to react to the new Jurassic World Dominion Trailer🤙💯🔥
Posting our reaction today on our second reaction channel we recently started for movies tv and music ua-cam.com/channels/bKJne36C-ewDbozVT2W-tA.html 🥳🥳
React to the gameplay trailer of this game
We will be checking out more from this game for sure 🙂
I have already finished this game shadow of war middle-Earth 2 year ago that bow you get points skills combat fighting from playing Shadow of war characters legends Black gate of Rangers Gondorian and it not thar easy play shadow of war game level for everything believe me it always hard and easy between playing high skills upgrade Fortress base
😎👍🙂
Do the tribes
We plan to 🥳
you need to watch middle earth shadow of mordor/middle earth shadow of war all trailers and all cutscene like a movie.. plzzz
If we don’t play it on the channel then we for sure will 🙂🤩
Nice
😊🥳
Your intro music sounds familiar...
Couch co-op for this would be badass 🤩
I don't mind if you don't see all of my comments, also I'm pretty sure it's impossible for anyone to be more interested in Slenderman than me so don't worry also I know and understand that you can't reply to every single comment because well there can be a lot of comments on videos for example I have seen a video UA-cam with like 500 hundred thousand comments😁😁😁
Lord of the rings conquest
Is that a good game? Have heard mixed reviews 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yes it is a good game but they are remastering it so it's better wait
Pls watch tf2 spooktacular 2
On our TF2 request list to get to eventually 😇
react to Shadow of War gameplay trailer that was cool
On our list to check out 😀
You should play shadow of mordor first or you'd be a little confused
Thanks! 🙂
Not gonna lie the pauses are super awkward
Yeah they were. We were like, um, what the hell is going on 😂🤗
Mmmmmm
☺️

You don't even watch the whole video. 😂
