So much like Anthony...my husband and I discovered Pilgrims Progress in our later years. I had heard it mentioned in a TV series (the Unit) but than years later found a class on it with Ligonier. It has been read several times over and we keep going back! I have sent it to all my children to read and share. A timeless story that gave me solid direction in my Christian walk.

That was fun. My second "series" on 'The Pilgrim's Progress' after having read it myself (yes, parts 1 and 2) somewhere around a dozen times. Derek Thomas' answer "it's a cracking good tale" is a mild but accurate answer to "what makes this book so great?". That is why I've read it and re-read it, because it truly is a really wonderful story. The type you want to revisit, and yet again.

@Riječ Božja - Domo 2Kor5:20 Not from our human perspective it isn’t… God commands us to spread the gospel/Truth to the world bc we have no way of knowing who needs to hear it. Hearing Biblical truth is the normative means through which people are saved.
