Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a quiet, slow dinnertime recipe and a little bit of my evening kitchen routine, as I restlessly wait for this baby to be born. I've been doing my best not to film or make content, but life feels a little strange without it, so the other day I decided to film using my new Caraway pans for the first time, and a recipe I often use when I'm at the end of my ingredients or just need to throw things into a pot and not be stuck cooking for hours in the kitchen. I hope you all find this relaxing! You can find the recipes below.
I hope you are doing well!

Recipes:
Chicken Soup:
1 onion, chopped
Several cloves of garlic, diced
1lb chicken tenders, breast, or whatever you have, cut into bite-size pieces
5-6 carrots, chopped
4-5 stalks celery, chopped
5-6 small potatoes, chopped
Rosemary, oregano, basil, and parsley, added to taste
Chicken bullion or chicken stock, added to cover (approx 6 cups)
Sautee onions and garlic until translucent. Add chicken at this stage, or you can dump whole tenders/breasts in and shred them later. Add carrots, celery, and steam while you chop potatoes. Once potatoes have been cubed, add all to the pot and cover with water + appropriate chicken bullion amount, or chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper and herbs to taste. Simmer for 1 hour or however long you'd like.
Biscuits (1950 Betty Crocker recipe)
mix 2 cups flour and 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Cut in 1/4 cup shortening or butter. Mix in 3/4 cup milk.
Knead lightly. Roll or pat out about 1/2" thick. Cut. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake until golden brown at 450 degrees farenheit for 10-12 minutes.

tears slowly slid sown my cheeks as I watched you put the little aprons on your daughters. Mom did that to me as well She is 93 & I am 73 I always helped Mom in the kitchen as well ,she still bakes & cooks, Thank you for the memories .Though it was so cute your little one blew a kiss at al all of us. Have a lovely day ! ( your kitchen looks so cozy )
We made aprons w mum and embroidered them. Needles and cottons in abundance ❤ thks fr memory story
Everything about this video was so calming and beautiful. Your girls will forever remember these times. You’re making core memories. How lucky to have a thoughtful caring mother and wife🌼❤️
The sounds….slicing carrots, the kid being placed on the pot, the rain….all so comforting.
Oh my word how sweet. I have had a series of difficult days and your wee one blowing us all a kiss was just what my tender heart needed. I hope your new wonder makes their arrival soon.
Oh I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had some hard days. We are sending you lots of love!
These videos are so peaceful. My chaotic brain finds rest in your everyday. Thanks for sharing.
I love these slow, cozy, videos. Please keep them coming.
Your kitchen is reminding me of the kitchen in "Blueberries for Sal". 😊 What a nice, cozy video. ❤
U are absolutely Melanie Lynskey's the actress twin. I love watching u and you are gorgeous and so beautiful when u are speaking through ur heart. Your my favorite UA-camr cause I'm completely at home when watching u and feel like I'm watching my sister and never skip any video
Twisting the biscuit cutter seals the edges of the biscuits and doesn’t allow them to rise as well. Straight down and straight up is the way to go ❤
Oh my gosh I love these videos. Originally being from the Deep South, I grew up watching the process and eventually making biscuits myself. A good trick is to put them touching, tightly side by side in the pan. This way they have no choice but to rise up because they’re under pressure from the other biscuits and have nowhere else to go. It works! Love your videos. ❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️ as someone with ADHD I so relate. Cleaning is not my strong suit but I'm working on it🩵
This was such a sweet and beautiful video! The rain, the bird, the kids helping mom, your sweet daughters, the delicious soup! Just so calm and peaceful!
Such a beautiful video. Very nostalgic and comforting. Your kids are lucky to have such a good momma.
Congratulations on your new little one! 🥳🎉And my goodness your other little ones are so laid back and happy,, you’re a roll model for gentle parenting tbh
What a sweet, cozy dinner time video! Thank you Kristina. I love your new pink cookware! Your dinner looks delicious! Blessings on the soon arrival of your baby.
I love your videos and I was very motivated to de-clutter my kitchen too. It is so true that things get easier. Your kids are lovely and I am glad for your new pink pans. Best wishes for the baby 🥰
These kind of videos are my absolute favorite😍your voiceover and the lovely music is all so pleasant and calming. I also really look forward to seeing how these pans hold up for you. They’ve been on my radar for a long time now, but I’ve yet to commit to the purchase.
Watching you cook with your kids made me so happy. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤
That soup looked so delicious! And it was so adorable seeing how happy your girls were helping you with the biscuits. Growing up, my mom always let us help in the kitchen and it really instilled in me the desire to make memories in the kitchen since so many of our wonderful memories were made in the kitchen. To this day, my sister, mom, and I spend time in the kitchen together and it's so wonderful. 🥰
These are my favorite type of videos! More cooking, daily life videos please❤
Thank you Kristina! Love your videos. Hope your precious little baby comes soon.🇦🇺🦘💜🍀
It was a lovely video. You're such a trooper...get plenty of rest while you're able. Best of luck . I pray everything turns out well for you, baby and the rest of your family. Beautiful pans btw, makes me wanna go make soup 😁.
Beautiful children. Thank you for the wonderful video. Take care of yourself too.
Such a lovely video, thank you so much for sharing your evening with us 💕 I'm having to leave full time homemaking behind soon and to say it's a wrench is something of an understatement. I know I'll be coming back to your lovely videos a lot for comfort over the next few months.
Sending you all the best wishes and love for bringing your little one earthside. 💕
This video was very soothing. I'm wishing you an easy labor, fast delivery and a beautiful, healthy baby. Sending love to you from Massachusetts. 💖💕🥰
Have not watched it yet, but thank you so much. Your channel is a big help with my anxiety. I trully love all that you do and that you allow us to sit back and watch. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I really enjoyed this video. It was so peaceful and sweet. Your kitchen is cute!
How wonderful :) this was lovely to watch first thing on a Sunday morning.
I love your dress. I am a plus size girl I wear 14 jeans but they have to be alittle stretchy and I can wear them if I wear a 16 they are too big. I am also 5'1 I wish I took sewing lessons I can never find cute things that fit me. But you have that special pregnancy glow. I have 3 children I always wanted to have a big family but all my babies are ivf. I suffered from 3 miscarriages before having my son and when he was 11 months old we decided to do another ivf cycle because I did 5 ivf cycles before having my first born and it took me about 3 years of trying and I figured it take us another 3 years of trying but it didn't I got pregnant with twins and they were born at 32 weeks my son was 3 weeks shy of his 2nd birthday so I had 3 children under 2 years old and I also breastfeed my twins and I never asked for help my husband worked and when he got home he take over as I made dinner and then he give the children baths and get them ready for bed as I pumped or nursed he helped me so much and now my children are much older and I wish I could have another so bad but I just turned 42 and I be in the hi risk age but I feel youg..lol
Such a lovely video. Your kiddies are adorable. I'm sure my house was never so peaceful at 'happy hour'! Although I always strived for it... Oh you are so right about the (ADHD) brain struggling with habits, I find not so much hard to form new ones as mine just slipping back into the old track. Almost impossible! It's lovely to see someone achieve their goal.
Don't you love the white Pyrex mixing bowl? It is the best. I broke my first one, and when it hit the floor, a jagged piece hit me in the leg, and I bled and bled, so be careful! Love the music you chose for this video. So peaceful. And I echo what the lady said about tying the aprons on your girls. A Beautiful memory, and your girls will also have that beautiful memory.
Oooooh Freya ❤❤❤ she is the cutest
Love this style off video :’) so peaceful. All the best with labour and the early days!
I've been thinking and wondering about you lately! How are you feeling? Your soup looks delicious. I've been trying to find things that don't nauseate me at 10 weeks pregnant. It's a challenge at the moment. Thank you for sharing videos, they really inspire me in motherhood and homemaking! Best wishes for your birthing!
Thanks for sharing! This was so cozy and calming to watch. All the best as you and the family await your newest bundle of joy!

Caraway is the best!! Very healthy!💕💕Love the pink!
My mom had that cook book and I have it now, it’s so useful.👍
This is such a cozy video! One of my favorite times of day is being in the kitchen in the evening, making something for my family. 😊 You inspired me to put soup and biscuits on my menu for this week; we haven’t made them in a while and I should before the weather starts to warm up!
That cookbook is the one we grew up on. Try the cinnamon rolls. They are fabulous. Loved this so much I had to buy me and my sister and my nieces and nephews one ❤❤
Thank you! This made my day!
Beautiful family❤
Biscuits are delicious with chicken soup!

Such a good mom... 👍❤🙏
Such a Sweet video!!!🍓
You should try sourdough 😊my mom who is gluten sensitive can have anything sourdough as long as it is fermented 24 hours
Lovely video
Love the pans❤
Yay! And with immediate cuteness🥰💗💗💗
Edit: Hopefully this isn't annoying, but I learned that it's better to separate onions and potatoes. Apparently they make each other go bad faster. Stocking up for the pandemic proved that true, because I was trying not to shop for a long time. Congrats on the new pots & pans!👍👍👍
Oh interesting! We go through them so fast I've never had that issue, but I'll separate mine anyway because I don't want rotten ooones!
@@WithLoveKristina Yeah, I never really noticed before. Maybe part of it is my new environment, still learning. But they did better when separate👍 I hope I figure out living in the desert🤭
Yeah, onions release gases that make all other produce ripen, then rot faster.😅and apparently if stored near apples or bananas, can make them taste slightly of onion…
Freya blowing kisses at me. Thanks! I needed that today. 🥰🥰🥰
Super cute!!! 🖤🖤
I’ve been following you forever and had no idea you also have adhd!
❤
Sweet video
This is so cute. Being pregnant and wearing an apron? That's too cute.
Hahaha it’s so necessary or EVERYTHING gets on me 😂
