The Army Corps builds New Jersey's beaches the cheapest possible way, not the best. This has given us sinkholes, sand cliffs up to 15 feet high, dangerous rip currents and shorebreak waves, and has decimated our coastal and marine life. They need to do better and there are better ways of doing this. Visit the New Jersey Coast Alliance for more information.
