  • The Northeast is taking stock of the overwhelming devastation left from Superstorm Sandy. Some of the worst damage is in New Jersey, where floods and outages prompted governor Chris Christie to postpone Halloween. Alison Harmelin reports from Atlantic City, where President Obama came to visit.

    Was there a few weeks ago. The "JS" house still stands, minor damage from what I saw...few panels of the wood siding was gone,can't say what it looks like inside though. Yet 2 doors down there is a huge pile of debris. The t-shirt shop "Shore Store" was damaged, but was being worked on. Other shops still look like they haven't been touched. Very surreal there, there is NO boardwalk-so the entrances are above your head. Since 3/5, there has been huge progress, especially rebuilding the boardwalk

    Wow and boarwalk is gone so glad jersey. Shore filmed last season before this happen wow shore house gone t shirt shop gone karma gone so sad
