@@Connor-j7l I have some money now, but commitment to family first. By 2027, my 50th birthday, it will be done. Agree with you. Hehe, at 60 quite late, but better late than never.
I'm 18 years old and my dad gave me his 2021 Vulcan 900 Classic when he went to go buy his Harley. Can't wait to finally ride it this summer when I move back to his house I've never been more excited. Plus it's my first bike :)
Why wait? Take a Motorcycle Saftey Course. Buy used. I bought a Classic LT new in 2009. Got into a club a local Vulcan club and we put on miles!!! I put on over 8K miles last year. Buy good safety gear and wear it.
I can still remember the first time I rode my Vulcan. I had been riding standard and sports bikes for more than 30 years, but the Vulcan required me to totally relearn how to ride. "Big and fat" pretty much sums it up, but I would add "and very long!" Intersections were downright scary. It didn't help that everyone referred to it as a "beginner's bike." It took me well over a year to feel comfortable on it. But it is comfortable, especially for my wife.
I had a Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide I loved it at first then I realized what flaws it had having been a machinist for many years so I went to an M109R got in trouble with the law ended up with a Vulcan 900 absolutely love it far superior vehicle to the Harley-Davidson really don't care about people's opinions about Harley-Davidsons I'm married I don't care.
Tire pressure is 28 front and rear up to 215 lb rider.(s) Above that-rear is 32 PSI. Front still 28PSI. Have fun riding it. I love mine!
I just got the same Vulcan motorcycle two days ago and everything you are saying is spot on. Thanks now I know it's not just me thinking the same issue!
Bro I like your style! Ride what you love. Im a cruiser only guy. Not an HD fan. Different strokes…i love Vulcans. I suspect if you rode it enough, you’d convert! But until then, enjoy the R7!
I went from a sport bike to a vulcan. It was weird at first but you get used to it. If you want to turn sharp at low speeds i find giving it a heavy push from the beginning then letting the fall in makes turning alot easier. If your going to change the oil, you don’t need to remove the the stuff in front off the oil filter. There is a bolt to the left. Take the bolt out then loosen the right bolt just a little and then you could move the arm that is holding everything out the way. A lot easier then removing everything else. Looking forward to more of your videos. 👍
Thank you for the tips! really appreciate it! I will probably try to take it out again one of these days and try to get better at turning and try to do what you told me!
Thanks for your review!!! Have my eye on a brand new one...had a 600 Katana... (in 1989) now looking to take it easy on the road on a comfortable Bike!!! Ride safe!!!
This is the bike I have. Super crazy comfortable bike to ride. But I’ve never ridden a sport bike. Only a vintage Harley and this bike. For me turning on the Vulcan is easy. I can ride slow and turn like I’m a CHP officer. The only thing I don’t like about the Vulcan 900 is that it’s a cow. I like torque. This guy was downshifting too much. Don’t downshift
you gotta rev that thing up man the vulcan 900 revs to 7500 its a light cruiser youre just not used to it second gear gets you to 40 you should only really go into third at 40 i like to go third till 50-55, 4th is cruising at 65 on a fast road and 5th is only for highway, going 30 in third gear is lugging the shit out of it. also man its actually great at slow speeds with mine, for example when you took a right turn from a stop you turned your bars and stared going which is wrong for this bike it makes you feel weird, what you should do is start going forward, turn left by pushing forward with your right hand to drop the bike to the right then quickly turn to the right and give it some nice revs and clutch out of the turn. you have to rev it a lot to make the clutch smoother since its so heavy and it has such a small engine for a cruiser, i hope you get the hang if the bike i love mine its pretty fast if you rev it out
Throughout the film, you said that you didn't ride a cruiser, put on gas and give a weather report. Say something about how the acceleration feels, the direction at low speed, how it is in curves, how it changes gears, something about the brakes, something about the injection.
@@jeanpequignot80 dude. You turn by leaning and slightly moving the bars. You don’t stay sitting straight on a bike and only turn the bars like in a car.

I'm looking to get my first bike in 20 years after owning half a dozen with minimal mechanical expertise and the Vulcan is near the top of the list.
I have a Vulcan 900 classic. When you go to turn clap your legs on the tank it will make the turning smooth.

I'm going to be moving from Sport to Cruz so this is good to know what to expect. Thanks!
I'm about to get this bike after owning gixxer and kawi 14r.... i'm hoping it's not too hard to handle
Why do you aggressively throttle every time you're coming to a stop?
He is re learning how to ride
Just bought a Vulcan 900 ... my son has the R7 it's just the weight difference, R7 maybe 350# a d the Vulcan is over 600#
You'll understand cruisers when you're 45 and have back and knee problems those aggressive sport bikes just aren't feasible any longer..
good job !
I don’t turn with the handlebars.
Yes you do 😂😂😂

The fenders on this bike crack over time. It's all over Vulcan forums.
May depend on your use or where you live. Maybe constant sun exposure? I have a 2012 one and no cracks yet, thankfully.
