Is your car stock with the s52 cams? Those rpms are smooth and I’m guessing it’s a manual? I’m slowly getting ready to manual swap my e39 528i ‘99 I’m so excited
The car is manual and has m50 manifold, intake, cams, cat back exhaust. Stock exhaust manifolds and cats, stock 2.8l block otherwise. The swap will be so worth it for you I hope you post some videos 😁
@@sonics1kr886 it's more like 1400 something kg. I have full mostly stock interior/ac/Bavsound speakers, m3 knuckles/control arms, m3 calipers, pads, and rotors front/e46 brakes rear, Z3 M shift lever, 5 speed e46 Zhp shift knob, 3.23 lsd, ST coilovers front and koni single adjustable rear, swift springs rear, Vorshlag camber plates, 245 wide Falken fk510 tires all 4 corners, front sway bar, lightweight flywheel, m50 manifold, Dinan carbon fiber intake, electric fan conversion, dyno tune, Stromung exhaust. The only thing in really missing from the m3 is aero and the extra 0.35 liters displacement and slightly higher compression
It is plug and play. You just would want a tune to fully take advantage of the cams. It would run just fine without a tune but you make more power with the tune. Reading up on it, the m52 valve springs are supposedly more pressure than s52, so no worries there
@@EiteTryHard This video is before the retune, but I don't remember exactly how much I spent. It is probably in the neighborhood of 250-500 plus dyno time.
Thats a really nice sound
that m50 manifold has a legendary sound
Wow great throttle response. That's an m50 manifold for sure.
did you change the intake cam or did you do both intake and exhaust ?
Both and it's the non tu single vanos

i have the same car!
How much power? 0-100? It looks really quick and healthy
I don't have any 0-60s myself, but on the dynojet it's 210whp / 190wtq

@@Aston6Speed I think u can easily sub 5 this to 100 right?
also is your m52 a tu or single vanos ?
Single vanos
what was the power gain from the cams? was it worth it ? I have m52 on my e30 and i was thinking about cams
With m50 manifold already on, it gained about 15hp

Nice , is it plug n play?? Or need spring valve & valve change to?
