As someone who has owned both E36 and E46s, this is impressive, but not because of the engine. How do you prevent the rear axle from tearing its self off the car at 700hp? They can fail even at stock power levels.... M3s are notorious for it :-/

I am trying to decide wich head is better and why m50 or m52 head? should i use single vanos or leave it non vanos? i have m52b28 vanos engine and I am using crank from that as well i can use its head and vanos unit with camshafts. Thanks
Thanks , yes you have to mill (widen) the place on the connecting rod in the piston and make a new place in the bottom piston for the valves. because the valves do not get into the n54 piston valve pockets. Check on fotos turbobmw.pl/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8159&start=45

you do some welding, there are plenty reinforcement kits you can add sth creative if needed and itll fold up fine

Thanks, yes this is m52 head with 7mm valves from NV , solid lifters and custom grinding cams. And valve cover is from NV ;)
