In an office setting, young Filipinos in PH are not so polite to fellow Filipinos coming from the States. I experienced this twice -- once as an observer hearing from two Fil-Ams being treated as an "other" in an office setting and another time, experiencing this years later myself when I worked there. Outside of the office setting, Filipinos are friendly and hospitable.
