Thanks Isaac. I’ve always felt very comfortable in Emmett & have very much enjoyed the feel & friendliness of the community. Yes, it’s a slower pace & yes, there’s not as much to do as bigger places, but we also don’t have the crime & other problems the bigger places have.
There hasn't been as extreme of a change in Emmett over the last several years like there has been in the boise area. One new neighbor hood and a few more cars but other than that its pretty much the same
This looks excellent. Planning on selling my T.F. house in a couple of years and moving back to that general area. Prefer Boise, but looking for outskirts too, so might be Emmett.
It is definitely appealing to many people who want a little breathing room but still want to be reasonably close to all of the amenities in the boise area.
Nice place, but you failed to mention the radon issue. Four Idaho counties were exposed to high levels of radiation from the open-air atomic bomb blasts. Emmett is one of the city’s that were exposed during nuclear tests….
Correct, that did occur in the 1950's. Emmett is currently zoned zone 3 which is well under the EPA's unsafe levels. Radon is a naturally occurring gas that is produced from decay of rock(granite). Currently 10-25% of the homes in Emmett test at less that 3.9 pCI/L which is within EPA safe range.
From every one of your videos, I learn more and more about the TV area. 🤔 Emmett isn't exactly a place we would want to live as we age and have need for more health care, but I like the charm of the town, and I'd like to try some of those cherries. We will have to take a road trip and visit the place someday. 👍👍👍
@@Topidahorealestate I'll refer back to this video to refresh our memory before we go check it out. I have just one question about Emmett. Are there any local restaurants or bakeries there that make homemade cherry pie from the cherries grown there?

Won’t stop the Rad Calies from ruining ya
Emmett is a very good city to raise a family! I was born and raised there!!
,!
I will be visiting that area in a couple of months. I looked around on two previous visits, and want to see how growth has changed traffic, etc.

I had no idea there was a quarter mile drag strip or any other tracks in Emmett.
Absolutely! They race just about every weekend

It is definitely worth the drive to spend a morning or afternoon there. Lots to do while still being pretty close to Boise
