Great video love the way you explain things! You personality is just right for learning about technical things. Do you happen to have any videos on exactly logging into a switch an programming or configuring it for a certain network scenario? I would love to see some of the basics on how thats done.

Hi, there l setting up a new house that's being built now so l am getting the house prewired with cat6e or if my electrician can get cat7 as l want the latest technology for the future.
l have a 24 port Dlink plug and play switch that works ok but you were saying a managed is better.
lm not an IT trained person so if l did get a managed switch would l know how to set it up or do l need to be an IT professional.
l would love to hear from you about this.
What about ground loops with backup links
Great video. Can you suggest a cost effective switch that I can use to practice for my CCNA. I'm going to start studying for it in a few weeks.
+Reaz Kayum cisco2950 or cisco 3500
cisco netacad... they have virtual software
Holy shit, you just saved my ass.
I like the concept of increasing bandwidth but what scenario does that work for? I keep thinking, what"s the difference if it all goes back to the one cable from the modem and router?
Switches are not only attached to all the computers on the local area network, but also to printers and network storage. In that case, bandwidth does matter. However I do appreciate your comments and thank you for watching my videos
