Advice for Big Wave Beach; Inifi-nut's plant food shield can also block the Fisherman Zombie's fish hook from pulling your plants forwards.
When I figured this out as a kid I could finally stop grinding 30k gold to use lightning powers on the fisherman

His dead form is immuned and will block the wave, tho can still be crush by garg
I would argue infi-nut's plant food ability is the best plant food ability of non-premium plants in the game
A tip for the early game is wait for the first few zombies to walk most of the lawn and then when they're near the end you can put your nuts right on them. This will slow down the game meaning you can collect more sun and make the harder levels just a little easier.

@@leoshi8453 nope, tide removes gum, also the real issue is fisherman, you have yo use plant food in infinut to do anything and then the swarms destroy it so you can't rely on that sheild due to low damage

I would definitely love seeing you attempt to beat this game using only beans or mushrooms or such later on! But there are also the pvz2 mods that you could attempt to beat using only nuts too. Just throwing that out there. Keep up the good work! 🌰
Also, the neon mixtape tour, frostbite caves, and jurassic marsh gargantuars all also have a little extra something that sets them apart from the normal ones. Not to mention most of the gargantuars only in the chinese version.

Your videos have inspired me to do a Mushroom Only run! So far it’s pretty hard only getting to use Hypnoshrooms and whatever mushroom I’m lucky to pick up with rentals AND with no sun producers available yet, and having to wait all the way until the Dark Ages to get any other mushrooms, but I’ve been successful so far! I’ve limited myself from using Toadstood because it’s simply too good to use, so I only use it if it appears in the rental or on levels that I have to use it on, such as sun producing levels. I’m excited to see the next video on how you tackle the Dark Ages! Thank you for creating such fun videos, and thank you as well for giving me an excuse to return to PvZ!

Probably my favourite PvZ 2 world, also on your Gargantuar question, they were actually originally planned to be the only ones in the game so they were more special which is why the have abilities. The only other ones I can think of with special moves are Neon Mixtape Tour’s shockwave slams and the multi- imps in frostbite caves.
I love how each episode your humour is getting riskier as you are more comfortable
4:30 There is the Hair Metal Gargantuar from Neon Mixtape Tour.
When their music is playing every time they attack they will also shoot a shock wave attack that will destroy any plant.
So basically they can destory two plants with one attack.
The shockwaves don't instantly destroy any plant, they only do 1000 damage. Which is enough to destroy most types of plants, of course, but the defensive ones will tank a few.
Infi-nut on the other hand absorbs unlimited shockwaves.

You asked if there were any other gargantuars with special abilities, and the answer is yes. Ice Caves garg throws three imps instead of one, and the Neon Mixtape Garg is single handedly the most OP zombie in the entire game imo. You'll hate it when you reach it I'm sure

Gargantuar Prime (Far Future) doesn't only have a laser, but also hits a plant twice, which makes it deal more damage to spike rock or nuts than normal Gargantuars
Other Special Gargantuars:
Hair Metal Gargantuar (Neon Mixtape Tour) sends an insta kill shock wave each time it hits the floor, when the Metal theme plays (always in Modern Day).
Sloth Gargantuar (Frostbite Caves) carries three imps
There are other gargs with special abilities, in fact “some” gargs have different hp, anyway, the ice garg (or whatever the name is) can throw 3 imps i’m pretty sure, the future garg with laser, the rockstar garg (i don’t know the names) is the worst one (aka strongest) because when it attacks and hits the ground it sends a shockwave that hits any plant in the lane closest to them

Not all gargs have different HP, most have 3600 and very few are different than that.
I don't think Gargantuar Prime is too bad, because you can disable him with E.M.Peach for a short time and sometimes he can miss the lasers.

If I remember correctly, the Neon Mixtape Tour Garg smashes the ground and creates a shockwave breaks plants even when he's not in front of them. I think he's the toughest in the game, worse than the lazer because the lazer doesn't come out as much.

One such Garg with a special ability is the Hair Metal Gargantuar in Neon Mixtape Tour (the world themed around 80s music). In Neon Mixtape Tour, the different zombies have special moves that they can use to annoy or kill your plants, but only when their specific genre of music is playing. For the Hair Metal Garg, it goes from smashing plants in melee range to smashing the ground, sending a shockwave to kill your plants. It's a ranged Gargantuar. Yes, the Far Future mech is also ranged, but their laser is random and infrequent. The Hair Metal Garg will show up during his rock anthem and start smashing the ground and uprooting an entire lane without even needing to get close to your plants.
Edit: Infini-Nut is amazing because placing one of them down and placing another one in front of it will infinitely stall zombies that can't insta-kill plants. They eat the first one, then while it regenerates, they eat the second one. The first one will regenerate in time to continue holding the zombie in place while the second Infini-nut regenerates behind it. Rinse and repeat.
I can think of a garg with a special ability, the neon mixtape tour garg can smash the ground with its guitar, and send a shockwave out, destroying plants, but it can only do this when metal music is playing.
“The all star Mech is the first zombie that completely counters, the explode O Nut”. 5 seconds earlier. “I am trying to use the explode O Nut the amount, but even then they just fly over”
The only other gargantuar that has a unique gimmick is hair-metal garg in Neon Mixtape Tour, which has a ranged move when its jam is playing.
fun fact: when there was only anchient egypt, pirate and wild west worlds, the far future was the first world to be added!

The Neon Mixtape Tour Gargs have the ability to send out a high-damage shockwave during certain songs, so that answers your question on if there are any more Gargs with special abilities.

-mecha garg has laser
-hair metal garg creates shockwaves that deal massive damage when metal jam is playing (or at all times outside of NMT)
-ice garg throws 3 imps
-jurassic garg has a shit ton of health
there's also 2 gargs that don't appear in main adventure mode:
-roman garg's imp traps the plant it lands on in a net that disables it for quite a long time
-a giant imp gargantuar that is fast, and acts as a regular gargantuar. Throws a tiny gargantuar instead of an imp, and it ALSO behaves as a regular gargantuar. Yes, it throws a fucking gargantuar into the left-third collumn of your lawn.

And the fact that it gives you Tile Turnip at the end of the world where power tiles are introduced is very rewarding and fits really well. It’s like the game is like : "Congrats, you master power tiles ! You now get to control this mechanic in other worlds”

Far future’s the last world that the original team on this game developed, and it’s honestly noticeable. It isn’t my favorite world but it does have a lot of charm.

Every level except for 1 is has been done with only 2 seed slots (wild west 29, as its a conveyor belt gimmick level where you need to wait for each wave) and thats because magni grass carried that challenge so hard its insane
