Why does the interviewer have to have a guitar, too?

Just an observation for people starting to look into pedals: you do not need to buy a pedal to try it.
Take your guitar with you to the store and ask to try the two or three pedals you are considering in an amp as similar to yours as possible.
That way you will save time and money.
