I followed you since the beginning and love your spirit. thank you for this video!! I'm transitioning from vegetarian to vegan and this meal prep was so easy to follow. This meal prep video was great! I don't even like beets but seeing how beautifully you presented them makes me want to try eating them again😃

When you boil beets, don't cut roots or the other end, basically let skin of the whole vegetable be completely intact. This way they are gonna be less watery and brighter and darker color. But the best way to cook beets is to roast them whole, they are a lot sweeter this way and you loose less nutrients. Advice from a Russian lady ))) I know my beets)))

Seriously, I was praying I could find ideas for vegan meal prep and watched many videos here on UA-cam. But, most of the food I didn't like. I like all these foods and they are cheap to buy at the store. I shared the video with my friend because she needs ideas as well. 👍😀👍👍

Hi Rawvana, I've been vegan for 7 months now, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The only thing that has been hard for me is not having ready to go meals during busy weeks. Thank you so much for this video and all of your other great ideas! Can't wait to make this! It's gonna help make my life so much easier! :)

I love your channel. I am 63, have been struggling with chronic eczema on my hands and want to get rid of it as naturally as possible. Have done the steroid route and just not for me. My skin is very sensitive at this stage. I have always made homemade everything and have even started making my own natural soaps (nt melt and pour). I have found that has helped my skin sooo much. I have done so much research and what I come to believe is that I should really try going vegan. I have always considered myself an almost vegan because I eat almost all veggies, fruits, legumes. I very rarely eat red meat. So I am going to do this and I am so glad to watch yours. The only thing I do not care for, at all, is the garbanzo beans but I will just sub black or some other for that. Thanks so much and you are soo sweet and pleasant to watch. Patty in nh

I cured my eczema by going vegan! I used to have it on my shins, elbows and on my sides, as well as upper arms. It wasn't blanketing my skin, but these were the areas that I used to get spots about the size of a golf ball in diameter. My skin cleared up within 2 months of going vegan and you can't even see the dark spots anymore! I also make my own body butter and that really speeds up the process! I also like to mix my body butter with cane sugar to make a body scrub! I have actually sold my products before! I plan on making new batches within the next two months! I use 10 different oils and have had many compliments on it! My ex would literally get dark and wrinkly under his eyes when he would stop using it! I didn't even realize it worked that good until he stopped using it! I use high quality, fair trade, organic, cold pressed oils. Feel free to email me at eileenbunetta@gmail.com! Just leave the words body butter in the title. Even if you are not interested in buying my product, I would be super happy to still give you the list of the ingredients I use! Either way I want to make it very clear that the vegan diet cured my eczema! My oil helped replenish and renew once the underlying problem was fixed! Eczema is actually caused by your body pushing toxins out of your body and it is literally killing your skin. It's like a chemical burn. You definitely need to start out eating vegan and try going raw for a week or two, I bet you will fall in love with the way you feel! I eat 85% raw! I only eat a cooked dinner maybe 2 or so nights a week and sometimes non at all because I don't even crave cooked foods most of the time! I don't restrict, it wouldn't be fun for me if I did!
If you go vegan or not, please learn about gmo's. They are even being pumped into health foods in America. I don't know where you live and if they even grow gmo's where you are. If they do, please research what gmo foods are sold where you are and avoid them like the plague! I just found out that 50% of America's granulated sugar sold in stores is made from GMO sugar beets! I had no idea sugar was gmo! So you should only be consuming organic sugar or cane sugar. Unless you use another kind of sweetener! Another shocker is that summer squash like zucchini and yellow crook neck squash are gmo here! I am constantly trying to find cheap organic one's or plain conventionally grown one's! Please research the list of gmo's! It will help with your shopping! I will not buy anything with a gmo ingredient (corn) or byproduct (corn starch). Those are just examples. In America there are stickers on the fruits and veggies that say their PLU number. A 4 digit code is conventionally grow (wash good with baking soda) unless it is on the dirty dozen list, then you should by organic (like berries). GMO's PLU's are a 5 digit code starting with an 8. Organic's is also 5 digit starting with a 9! Example, conventional bananas PLU - 4011, Organic banana PLU - 94011. Thank goodness there are no GMO bananas yet!!! I don't why I am writing so much! I will end this here! There is so much to learn, but true health feels like a new world, it's definitely something you have to experience! Good luck to you Patty! I hope you decided to start this journey!

Patty Allen, I have had a lot of eczema on my hands, as well. I found what made it flare the worst was canned food. When I started cooking my own beans the eczema went away. You can use canned as long as the inside of the can is coated. Just a little tip. I have been vegan for years. It helps pretty much everything, in my experience. 😎

I make soaked overnight oats for breakfast too! They are so good sometimes I eat one for dinner as well. Adding chopped dates naturally sweetens the oatmeal and you won't need to add coconut sugar. Great ideas. I prep my salads similarly, but I eat more than salads throughout the week. For my other meals, I find it easier to prep in advance in nice containers so I can grab and go (since I don't have time to assemble every meal).
