Nice video. Love the beautiful b roll footage. Of all the AT videos I've seen no one has pointed out that the lemon Squeezer is angled like that. Have a great day!
Nice to see someone else out in that miserable weather Saturday. I feel you on not filming much. I took one picture that entire day. The cold and rain = no desire to stop moving for any length of time.
The colors are nice out there. Glad those shoes are working out. I need to get some hang time soon. My spot has been closed since early March due to storm damage.
So far so good, they are the GTX version of the normal trail runners I use. Hope they get the damage cleaned up soon so you can get back into your spot!
I just did a 2 night in Mahwah. Friday night into Saturday was brutal. Saturday night was much better. Looks like you had a good trip despite the weather.
How are you liking that dutchware tarp? I just picked up the bonded winder wide xenon tarp from them and haven't used it yet. Super excited to tho, I've had my eye on it for a while, it's bigger AND lighter than my current tarp (how can you not be excited about that??) Looks nice in your videos.
Great video, I’ve done many hikes in this area as well! Harriman is a really cool place. I was wondering what temperature rating quilt you would use in the summer? What temp rating do you use in spring/fall?
I have a good selection of quilts so I try to go conservative with the temps that I expect. For summer I have a 50 degree set that I use most of the time.
Sometimes I do, on this trip you may be able to see that I am carrying the poles (spreader bars) on the outside of the pack and I just have the hammock stuffed in.
Thanks for sharing, I really like that Townsend bridge hammock. How are the weight, setup, and bulk compared with comfort? I've seen your previous reviews, looks like the comfort is well worth any inconvenience..Are you still of the same opinion after backpacking with it more?
I really like it. It's a little heavier than some of the others out there, but it does depend on how you configure it. But for me the quality of sleep I get far outweighs the small penalty.
I've been day hiking or camping in Harriman countless times throughout the years and it never gets old. It's a beautiful state park!
It's a great place. I am never disappointed when I go out there, and there's still a ton left for me to explore!

Thanks, that's what makes it difficult, otherwise it's just another crack in a rock!
Excellent music choice. 👍
Right on, I appreciate that!

Yeah, it wasn't a very nice day, we didn't see many people out there!
Love your balance of commentary vs scenery 👌
Thank you, I appreciate that!

looked awesome. the weather can't distract too much from that area, even if it could possibly have you meet a bear in the fog 🤣
Now that would have made for a great story!
@@SpiguyverBackpacking1 especially if you can outrun Greg🤣😂🤣
LOL, right!
Looks like a good time. Loved the Ferris Bueller nod at the end.
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Saturday was pretty nasty, but we survived!
I enjoyed the cinematography.
Thanks, still having some camera issues that I need to get worked out, may need to replace this one.

It's been a great tarp. It's the size that works for my bridge hammocks.
Really enjoyed this one!
Awesome, glad you did! Thanks!
Great looking area. I'm hammock camping this Wed. for the first time this year. I'm on the carnivore diet so I'll have a nice big ribeye steak.
Sweet, enjoy your trip! I nice big, juicy ribeye sounds amazing right now!

Loved it
Thanks!
Do you load your Towns End hammock vertically in your pack? It looks like you're using the stock storage bag.
Sometimes I do, on this trip you may be able to see that I am carrying the poles (spreader bars) on the outside of the pack and I just have the hammock stuffed in.
I remember you said before that the quilt you are using is extra wide. How many inches wide is it?
I’ll have to go look
Where did you park your car in this video? Thanks.

It was a good trip!
