    Too many software bugs on the Fenix 8 for me. It’s alll about the Enduro 3 😍 Nice video lads 👊🏽

    I prefer the MIP always on display. Lots of times I just want to glance to see the time without doing the ol raise to wake wrist gesture. Right now as I type this test using both hands I can easily see the time without doing any wrist twisting. Just cannot get past the constant wrist moving to see the time. Also the AMOLED times out and your screen info changes. The MIP screen info is always the same.

    Hello from the U.S. The price for this watch is absolutely a killer. I would buy an Epix Pro or a Fenix 7 Pro, especially since we are seeing a lot of discounts here. It does look like the best Fenix ever made though

      @@dnice362 of course the 8 has the most features, however this time it's upgraded features that many people do not care about, while the price jump was big. I upgraded from Fenix 6 and compared the 7 pro sapphire solar titanium (-40% price) to the 8 (-10%) side by side. It was not even a hard decision, keeping the 8 was not an option. The money is not really a problem for me, however going with the 8 would have felt like burning a couple of 100€. 7 pro is much better value if you can get a good deal

    If I could potentially get a base model version at 873 instead of 999, would that be better than getting the old model?

    How long does it take for you to get GPS lock? My F8 47mm Solar takes more than 3-4 minutes whereas Epix Pro gets GPS lock in 8-10 seconds max. I have got a replacement and that one also has the same issue. GPS lock takes forever. I am running the latest software and also updated and loaded maps from Garmin Express as well. Really weird.

      La 965 est presque parfaite (je préfère suunto race S, mais je porte les deux car les bips/laps sont plus sonores sur la garmin que sur la suunto). Son gros défaut : autonomime à revoir

    No one ever mentions the absolutely terrible Bluetooth range on the Fenix 8, I can put my phone down in the living room, walk to the adjacent room and it disconnects. Not sure if it’s a bug fix or a hardware issue?

    I own Fenix 8 - 51 Amoled. Watch deeming screen during night is very aggressive (despite the settings you have - mine is set in top brightness) Result.. in the night the watch is almost unusable.. this is such a HUGE issue.. never had similar problem with Epix Pro Amoled or Fenix 7X.. Garmin just don’t listen to the thousands complaints about this in Garmin forums.. they pretend it’s not there.. trust me.. it’s there.. in the night it’s nightmare.. i almost regret replacing my 51 Epix Pro😢😢

    • @noisetin
      @noisetin 3 місяці тому +2

      Can you explain it a bit better? So screen is super dim just during the night (because of light sensor), is that correct?

    • @whiteran
      @whiteran 3 місяці тому

      Exactly that. Not only in the night though… I would say generally in low light conditions (e.g dark room) but in the night any small letters or numbers are unreadable! If i send light to the screen for example with iPhone’s torch then this amoled screen immediately wakes up and becomes super readable! A very big issue for me! In some UA-cam videos some creators show this on camera

    • @UmbertoUguccioni
      @UmbertoUguccioni 3 місяці тому

      I know the problem exists (I follow garmin forum) but the strange is that it's not common, a lot of people doesn't have it. It's so strange, it's seems like there's a group of F8 with this problem (at the sensor, I think) and other not. Because the big firmware update doesn't resolve your problem

    • @stevep9688
      @stevep9688 Місяць тому +1

      Same problem here with 1800 CAN $ watch . Garmin engineers commit this is the problem and will be fixed in 12.89 soft upgrade ....but when this be released :) . I join beta testers and is only 12.22 available. I think is a bit better but still not for old eyes. Ridiculous for me , especially this my 3 top-line Garmin with no similar issues before .

    • @whiteran
      @whiteran Місяць тому

      @@stevep9688 I have contacted support so many times and i cant find anyone who wants to listen.. According to them everything is ok.. they just dont want to recognize the issue. Putting my fenix 8 next to my last year Epix Pro 51 the difference in screen brightness during the night is HUGE!!! Fenix is almost unreadable for me... the same time Epix Pro 51 continues to be just perfect.. i am so disappointed with garmin and almost regret my so-called "update" to Fenix8!

    toujours pareil, garmin intègre de nouvelles fonctionnalités qui font grimper les prix et leurs montres ne sont pas parfaites partout. Des fonctionnalités ajoutées pas vraiment indispensables. Qu'ils se penchent plutot sur leurs lacunes à améliorer

    Garmin customer service is horrible...my fenix Sapphire screen went bad at about three year marks and customer service would not stand by their product. 750.00 for a watch that lasted three years is BS....screw Garmin, not worth the price.

    j'aimerais que Coros sorte une vertix 3 en écran amoled et différentes tailles, car j'aime beaucoup leur cadran qui respire la solidité, et en autonomie coros est la meilleure. Mais j'aime moins leur éco système, il faudrait qu'il le paufine, trop simpliste
