I'm just going through and searching all my favourite musicians to find if they've done a vid on LaBlogotheque. An overwhelming majority have. I love this channel.
I too have been trying to find a cure for my love of Okkervil River's music by eking out as much new music i can concievably digest. In the last 2 years (or so) of trying i have been unsuccessful. Okkervil River are still on extremely high rotation on my music boxes.
If only there was some small old clever morning bird, nest in New Jersey, with a loud song, that could rise the underdog and catch these finely sharpened poison darts blindfolded, making loving stones sound the sweeter tune. I guess it's "Hopeless"...
He does not sound like Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan sounds like Bob Dylan. Any similarity is simply failure to differentiate between subtleties. Or maybe my eardrums are just sexier than those of people who are obsessed with pointing at things with wings while yelling, "airplane!"
