    @amerisier We have this land because we were able to free our selfs from and oppressive dictatorial Haitian government. A government that has soon has it became independent from France opted to invade its weaker neighbor. That oppression lasted 30 years and we regain our independence in armconflict. Since then look at how you manage your land vs the way we treat ours and realize that you have a problem. This problem emanates from with in Haiti realize that change and then Haiti will rise again.

    I’m Haitian living in Haiti.
    Jesus-Christ loves you. Repent.
    I know Christianism is from the Colons but if it wasn’t true i wouldn’t promote Christ.
    It’s not about religion but about a relationship

    @ancoloco We are not racist my friend. If Haitians were to be white and blond and treated there land the way black Haitians have and fomented the same unstable society we would be apprehensive of them to. It has noting to do with race it has to do with the fact that you destroy your land, government, education and let foreign powers manipulate your leaders for personal gain and what we Dominicans have is a really unstable neighbor. A neighbor that affects our country every time it has a problem

    @laid212 Thank you my dear friend. We share the same island and our past history only makes us stronger. Like two kids that have a fight and then become the best of friends. I has a Dominican only wish the best for Haiti because your stability will mean my countries growth also. We are to close to each other to evade the fact that our destiny is intertwined. Haiti needs to resurrect before all this external interventions began wend Haiti was a respectable nation. I sincerely wish for that day.

    My Game Design instructor just assigned my topic for my midterm, and it's supposed to be about the Tonton Macoutes. I'm still researching, but I don't even think subject matter like this is appropriate for a game. I don't know what the victims of the Tonton Macoute felt so I don't think I would be able to simulate something like that in a game... I've been looking more towards Luckner Cambronne selling blood and bodies to universities and hospitals in the US as source material but that isn't even appropriate subject matter... no idea how to handle this. Suggestions? Advice?

    • @afatasidylan
      @afatasidylan 10 років тому

      Great point. We eventually had to have the assignment content changed because it went up to the school board but in hindsight, I think that I could have translated my material into an educational experience in an interactive medium. Could have been a valuable experience.

    • @elizabethkryda5034
      @elizabethkryda5034 10 років тому

    @amerisier You mean the jobs you are getting in DR, the money you send from DR to Haiti, the donations Dominicans send Haiti, all the emergency responders, doctors, nurses and military personal that safe Haitian lives. We were the firth helping out and know some how you want pay back. Sadly Haitians a lot of Haitians are uneducated and in DR the jobs they get are basic but that is not on us that is on you to change. I feel that Haitians are my neighbors and I do not look down up on them at all.

  • @eblgraphics
    @eblgraphics 13 років тому

    @hebrewmatrix There are no other country's in the face of this earth that are closer together but diferent in all aspects like Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haitians need to take responsibility for what they have done to there land and then you can begin to clime out ones again to the path of order and stability. DR will never unite with Haiti has one nation we will remain good neighbors and always assist Haiti but will not accept the unification of the island La Hispaniola.

    @Hypatia1951 There is no need for the US to be sending people out of there country to train other nations to be has violent has they are. We do not need Dictators just so that some company can make a profit. We have copy your political system and society because its good but every time we in Latin America come close to a true democracy were the natural resources of a nation are put to work for the population of that country what do we get... Noriega, Trujillo, Pinochet, Batista etc...
