    I listened to the people on the internet. Took apart the turbo for my D24T.
    Was advised the best way to get more boost was to eliminate the waste gate by removing the boost reference canister. The part with the spring that opens and closes the waste gate valve.
    It doesn't just come off, the canister is actually spot welded to the hot side housing. Was told to just break it off, and I did. Moron. Realized later I could have just removed the line feeding boost reference.
    Also, I took the turbine apart. As I understand it, I now have to get the turbine balanced before attempting to run it again.
    The turbo worked perfectly well before I made such a mess of it.

      No worries man, happens to the best of us.
      You shouldn’t need to balance your turbine. Apparently the turbine and compressor wheel are balanced separately, so you can put them together any kine.
