It makes my heart smile to see artists supporting artists / women supporting women and the absence of cliquishness ❤️. I love my Lamy Safari. I use the Rohrer and Klingner in the color Lilly.
@@kriksis Lilly is a medium to dark brown. Emma is an interesting looking green color in the R&K SketchInk line that looks like one you would like (and I need to order 😁).
@@hildybean Ouh yes! I see, I think I mixed them up when I checked colors on website. I recently bought 5 more fountain pen inks so I'm trying to restrict myself a little bit. Video about them coming soon. :D But I will keep this in mind!
I enjoyed that so much! I want to thank you again for my markers, which were a total surprise (I'm going to show everyone soon!) and I can't believe how perfect and beautiful the colours are for my work. Those Yono markers are intriguing, I think I will buy one to try! Such a gorgeous palette of colours in this video.
Dear Kriksis, I so love your channel. I discovered you through Natasha Newton’s channel and think that you are in tune with one another artistically. You are both a delight to watch. The joy that you share in the art materials and supplies which you so carefully select is a pleasure to see. Fountain pens can be such fun for drawing and writing and make for special moments to treasure. Thank you for sharing with us all.
Hello Heather! Thank you for your comment! :)) I think my joy for appreciating art supplies and swatching started when I was working in art supply store for three years. But I agree that we both share the love for them! I really like to watch Natashas videos. :) I'm super happy I discovered fountain pens now! Agree what you are saying. Have a great day!
I really loved these colors. So glad that Natasha sent you that ginger root pencil and the other goodies. A. Gallo paints are so beautiful and I just love how vibrant and rich the colors are. They are a bit pricey, (artisan supplies usually are), but honestly worth every penny (pence/pound). Looking forward to your Lamy video. Thanks for sharing😘
Hi Kriksis, thank you again for sharing. I love fountain pens. I use the Kaweco but I never tried the Lamy and I'm looking forward to watch your next video. It is so nice to see two talented artists with different style being connected thanks to colours and art. I really love the idea of making yr own colours and the result is brilliant.
Hi Kriksis, when I was first interested in sketching and watercolor, everyone was using fountain pens and I tried one but realized it wasn't for me . I prefer kuretake bimoji fude, I use the two smallest sizes. They are great they come in different sizes and shapes and waterproof when dry. I don't sketch outside but when I do, I usually do it using these in a style similar to that of John Harrison- he is a watercolor artist from the UK. He also has a yt channel if you want to check him out. That washi is super beautiful. I once had a roll and forgot about for years. Then when I found it again I was worried that it might not work but it was still great. Love the Morris & Co designs :) How kind of Natasha! When you were showing the stuff I almost heard her giggly voice :) and that Indigo was perfection! I usually add granulation medium to mine as it's not naturally granulating.
Yes, I bet! I think its good to try it out to see even if its not working out, at least we know. :) Ouh this is so interesting! Im gonna check his channel out! Yay to fellow Morris fan! Some wash tapes are super precious. :))
This was very interesting as I have the same thoughts on buying a fountain pen! I watch lots of videos and like you said it can be overwhelming with the choices! I'm looking forward to your next video on your new pen! Maybe it will persuade me to take the plunge, although I'm worried I will get addicted to buying inks!!😁
Hello! :) yes I see! I guess we never know until we try. But! I have to say I already have addiction to fountain pens and in one week of using it I bought 5 more inks. Now I’m on ink ban till early next year at least. :)
I really loved watching this!! It's always so lovely to see the beautiful and cosy colour palettes you choose 🥰 you've inspired me to go out and try a fountain pen again - as a leftie it's a bit harder to find them, but I just realised Lamy actually make one 💕
Hi Kriksis, I love your videos! I was wondering what the name of the A. Gallo blue paint color. It is so beautiful and I would love to try it. Thank you so much!
Hello Pierre! To be honest I didn't know like two weeks ago as well, I just tried to do some research about it. It does sound complicated :)) But dip pens are great as well! Also, I just saw your second comment disappear and I can't answer to it but I have a video in my channel called '' I mixed my own Molotov acrylic marker colours'' The rules can apply to different acrylic marker brands too. I refiled Liquitex as well. Hope this is useful!
@@kriksis I removed it because I saw the post you just mentioned! Didn't want to waste your time explaining you already did apost about refilling markers!
