    It is interesting to hear the specific content from about 6:40 where he had mentioned that in some instances how our minds seem to be able to slow down time during critical events. I remember asking an acquaintance on how he handled himself when fights occur while he was working as a bouncer. He said that whenever the situations escalated to a fight, time seemed to have always slowed down for him as he could always out manoeuvre the attacks and neutralise them.

    I know JP does not like Jung typology for various reasons, one being how limiting it is to the process of human growth and thus being inaccurate for personality research and so on... But I’m convinced that his genius and passion grew from a preference of INFJ. Of course if he preferred that type, then he would reject the label and proceed to express the complexities of humanity. This is our generations Sigmund Freud but more edgy and likable! Yay!

    Not going to lie, I think his all meat diet borders on amoral. It has nothing to do with consuming animals as amoral. It has to do with its inherent relationship to greed. There is no way we could produce enough meat from everyone to eat this carnivore diet. How can you say it’s healthier to only eat meat when we all know the burden it would place on sustaining animals as our total food source. If it’s healthier for Professor Peterson and if it’s also healthier for everyone, as his own story might demonstrate, how is that realistic? His daughter created the Carnivore Diet. Let’s hope it only works for a very select few, and that those people are wealthy. The Slaughter House Rules.

      @vibeauxssxuaebiv3489 2 роки тому +3

      You approach the possibility of a Fact, and one that even if it is true most people wouldn't change anything, as some kind of immorality. If something is truly better, the inability for everyone to theoretically do that better thing has absolutely nothing to do with its morality or immorality. That makes no logical sense.
      If people live on a radioactive island, and it's much healthier to move to the next island over, although there isn't enough space for everyone there, it doesn't make moving to the other island immoral; nor does it make distributing the information that one should move to the other island for their health immoral.
      In fact it would be immoral to not let people know there is a healthier way to exist. This is even more true when you realize that not everyone will believe the information, and only a small number of those who believe will act on it, and only a small number who act on it will be successful. And this is even further exemplified if there isn't much if any negative results for those who hear and don't act, and for those who try and fail.
      Your argument is illogical, and your understanding of how morals work is deeply flawed.
