Nondisclosure agreements (NDA's) are legal.If I remember right they're trying to convict Trump for claiming it($130K) as a campaign expense.A legal expert(I can't remember who,it was about a year ago)has said that there is nothing illegal about it because it benefited his 2016 election run and was therefore a legit claim.
What they're arguing is that it was a campaign expense, not a personal expense, and so went undeclared in his campaign expense reports, which is the crime.
Of course, if he did declare it as a campaign expense, they would argue it was a personal expense, and accuse him of a crime anyway.
Corporations that pay people too keep silent should be illegal. Especially if the corporation is doing something illegal.
