    I always liked hauling bales with the hi boy and four wheel drive. Always felt more in control of the weight and you always had good traction.

    Oh please make a video of the changing of that wheel seal, show the world how you do it 😉, the view rate would go sky high, promise 😁 Mine is just dripping like a teaspoon a week, but oil stains on the tires are irritating and some day I just have to overcome being a coward and get to it.

      Yea I'm am buying a few different wraps this year..I like to bale the different hay with the different wraps

      I know guys who swap twine color for different crops.. some run two or three different colors to identify it's theirs. You'd be surprised how many idiots have been caught stealing a few bales that way🤣😂
      LOL.. kinda like me catching someone trying to get a big bale in their pick up when I pull in the field with the semi🤣😂 cops called him an idiot 😎

    I feel bad for you. It was 29F degrees here this morning. A lot better than the negative 30 plus you have been having.
    There is no way my bones could take the cold in temperatures like that!

    How is calving season going ? Here in michigan we have had pretty decent weather and our calves are doing great. My family has 180 hefers expecting and about 70 calves so far. We sell the calves at about 200 pounds to the Amish they finish them and process them all organic. You have gotten more snow than us but I live in southern michigan and our weather is very mild. Nice video stay safe.

      It's been going good. We have about 60 so far..we sell ours at the 600 lbs average mark and we do pretty good

    You should see the bale feeder that Dodge Brother's Farm has, he says it saves a lot of hay.

    I was looking at doing that with my old hay trailer. I was wondering if the single Dolley was enough under the front of if I would need a set of duals under front. How do you like the singles ?

    Hey Tyson, have you ever considered a bale picker truck? I am sure they are a lot of $ but with all the time you spend hauling so many bales it might pay off. Also take alot of wear and tear off your loader tractors. Just my 2cents. By the way love the sound of that big Cummins!

    Nice to have some horsepower to spare when a big job needs to be done in a short time. Is Old Smoky running this winter to help out, or is it mothballed until spring tillage?

      No we tried starting it in the fall but it woukdnt go..fuel issue to sort out

      Lots of those old Cases had lift pump issues , lots of times a full tank of fuel will help when you go to pump them up to get it to start !!

      @@leesteele9290 it had some junk.in the fuel line..and the sediment bowl on the pump needs a gasket..we just put it aside until it gets warmer

    It really works slick stacking the bales mushroom style for winter time use like you guys do. I have some stacked like that and some just in single rows and it’s been a pain trying to get those singles popped loose.

    Why do you lay them on end doesn’t the moisture get in the bale worse then setting on net wrap

    I don't know if I already have asked this question before or not? but why couldn't you haul your hay home, after days or weeks after they got bale up, instead of hauling them off in the winter...lol? Cuz us framers haul our hay off in the summer. But just curious. So good video.

      You must be a newer subscriber...it rained all summer and it was a miracle to even bale up good hay. We finished baleing the hay in October and had to go straight to the fields to combine...there was no time to haul with the crops still in the field

    Wish we had ur snow.only got 5in and its all gone.is ur snow total lower than usual this year.makes getting ur hay easier.not like used to be in 70s 18-24 in at a time.NE. upstateNY.yea that wrap or plastic string killer on wheel berrings seals.otherwise looks like perfect day.

      Yea ..I guess when they are on the semies they've dolly's..but you can call them either one...this one was reconstructed to fit in a tractor

    we are picking bales too stopped in on the progress on my property did not want to but they people with the diesel trucks were asked not to part and run the trucks around the sea can now they have to walk in the new parking area was put in have all on house whole things in the cans do not want them to smell like diesel or gas
