the thing is that at some point the fact that if there is a rose or isnt stop to matters, something like, maybe you are just not a pile of thorn hiddin all your shit, maybe you are a flower, but i dont care anymore

What fonts did you use in this? Or, did you make them yourself?
The only font I remember what it was is Nemo, which is that cool curly font that comes up a bunch starting with the title. I found pretty much all of them on 1001fonts.com searching by fonts allowed for commercial use.

I asked her if it's okay to use some of her songs in a book I'm writing (read: I'm trying to write). She said that's cool and it's gonna be cool once I overcome my tendency to undo five chapters (or more) in a accute attack of loathing for all I create (read: I lack conficendce in my skills and that slows down my work).

Yo so I just want to say, After Effects. (The program usually used to make these sorts of lyric videos) Is insanely fucking hard to get the hang of. I think you did a really good job with the particle effects in the background, the moving thorns and leaves and of course the song. I know it's a lot of work but it did pull through quite a bit. I was surprised to realize you did the lyrics yourself instead of hiring someone. Good job.
Hey thanks!! I was mostly stumbling through the program blindly to put this together haha. It was my first time seriously using it, not counting the very quickly thrown together full album video for Heart of Mine. There was a lot of trial and error :P
It's really good, I hope more of your music gets the kind of attention it deserves. Same with the videos, I found you through Hey Alice and ended up being really inspired by it, this one and The Ticket Man. But yeaaah After Effects is a pain to learn. I commend you. XD

Do you create lyrics for your own music? There is a song I need but I cant find it. It's about want to be stuck in a dream world since it's the only way to be satisfied and to go through life, but having to force yourself to let your fantasies go because you cannot always rely on them to help you and because real life is calling.
