Dear Mr. Winston, what a great musician and outstanding teacher you are! I'll never succed to thank you as much as you deserve for your brilliant technical and emotional keyboard efforts, dedicated to us all. Duke's and McCoy's spirit runs down your fingers! 🙏 🎹
Genial, Tony... Eres un excelente e inspirador maestro...
Wow, it's amazing how playing the right chords improves the song over just what is written!
Thank Mr Tony Wisthon
Saludo cordial from Spain

Thanks tony for the tutorial ❤❤❤
Oh my god thank you thank you for all of your lessons you give us all something to look forward to once again I can't thank you enough ♥️
Thanks, Tony!
This guy is so fuckin good...Reminds me of Dave Grusin another genius
I love your arrangements!
Could you please explain the theory behind D7 resolving to AbMin7? My knowledge of music theory is lacking, but as far as I know D7 should resolve to G... I can't figure out where this AbMin7 is coming from.
Db9 is a tritone sub for G7 (they share the same notes as 3rd and 7th - B and F), and Abm9 here is the II chord of Db when it's acting as the V. So it's not that D7 resolves to Abm, it's that the whole phrase leads to C (I). Instead of VI (Am) II (Dm) V (G7) I (C) we get: Am (VI of C), D7 (major II of C, a fairly common switch), Abm7 (II of Gb - where Db is V), Db (tritone sub for G7 acting as V), C (I)
Awesome
Dear Mr. Tony, could You make a video for Shape 4? Thank You for everything
So's not to be confused by the A half dim its just a D7 altered with the 5 in bass? I tried Ab13 its like an Fm6 with the d in melo sheesh why not
Mr. Tony Winston, I have learned a lot having discovered you about a year ago. I am a Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington, Art Tatum fan when it comes to jazz piano performance. You break these classic songs down so well, even I can catch on. Lol. Keep doing what you do because you do it well. Thank you Thank you Thank you. 5/28/2023
brilliant video - loved your style and explantions
Excellent as always.Would you mind making a tutorial about Blue bossa ?
Thanks from France
In case you don't want to wait - he's already got some old yet great tutorials on Blue Bossa. I got a lot of good ideas and inspiration from them!
That is a great Jazz Standard WOW!!!
So the intro is like drop 3 😀
I love your tutorials. I’m a “barely advanced” piano player. I know your videos are time-limited. Just a small request…I would love to see you break down some of those advanced licks you do just a wee bit more so I can see what you’re doing without hitting the “back button” quite as much. Thank you for taking the time to share your gift with us!!!❤
Hi Tony, Iike all the videos of your Jazz-school and I wish you a peaceful Christmas. Greetings from Germany. Thank you Tony.🎄
Thanks for the memories. I first heard this song in 1969 by Maurice Rocco in Bangkok. It soon became my favorite.
I like the beginning when Tony just slowly starts to drift offscreen...like a reverse Chris Colinsworth
Great harmony ideas and such awesome Tutorial, thanks 👋❤
Great lesson and with ideas I can apply in other songs too. I appreciate all of your work. Can you add You are Too Beautiful to your list of future videos please?
Great video! What book is this lead sheet from?
Hey!! what is the software that you use to see the piano keys?
Thank you Mister Winston!
Thanx, Maestro 🔥🌹🔥

Hello Tony. I like this song and video but we have Ira and George in the link 😁
Thanks I'll fix that
Diggin’ it Tony!
Hello teacher, first of all, I follow your work and find it valuable to musicians, but in your old work you would share free pdf documents for musicians, and now that I'm sorry, we'd be happy if you continued to share documents God bless you.
Almost every video including this one has a free pdf in the description
@@TonyWinston Thank you very much, Teacher, I look forward to continuing your work.
