A great "no nonsense" review with useful information. I really enjoyed it, I've ordered these irons and cannot WAIT to get them onto the course! Keep up the great work!

Excellent review. Your swing is a pleasure to watch; the club is so under control through impact...something we can learn from.
    Many thanks.

Great review, it’s good to see these clubs tested by someone with a swing speed I can comprehend. I also watched the Sim Max review, you gave me a lot to think about with your honest impressions of sound, feel and performance. I wound up going with the Sim Max, they just worked better for me when I went to get fitted. Keep up the good work!

Your written review was the most informative I’ve read and I’ve probably read them all since I finally ordered these today. The video was a bonus on your exceptional writing. You have a wonderful swing by the way. Thank you.

Very informative, Sophie. Maybe it’s time for me to rejoin the Karsten family after being lured away by TaylorMade on my last irons purchase. Going for a fitting for new irons in a few days. Based on your reviews of the Mavrix and Ping 710 irons (the latter with the power spec’s), my hunch is that both will be finalists for this senior golfer.

Great review, Sophie. I own a set of G410, and I was surprised that G710 is so much more expensive.

How do these compare to Taylor made Sim Max OS. Have you done a side by side comp.? My golf bud has the Max OS, they too are showing wear and scratches after only 7 or 8 rounds.
Great video, good info. Thx. LP

I would love to put these irons in my bag, God knows I need the help. The price turned me off a bit, but I am going to get them anyway. Great review young lady.

4:20 : 4 iron from the fairway. 150 yards. 5:25 : 6 iron from the golf center : 170 yards. Strange... I just chose the Ping G710 (6 to AW) after several tries : all things being equal, I go further with this 7 iron (29,5°) than with my current 6 iron (26°, Sterling one length). Really impressive.

bought these used and after 2 rounds cant stand the sound as you mentioned, will trading in for quieter better feeling G400s, great review, you tried to warn me.

Great review, Sophie. Your finding your groove. They look like some really nice clubs, but a bit on the high side price wise.

Watched a lot of reviews on the G710’s, I currently struggle with mizuno jpx 919 hot metal’s, had them for 2 seasons and I’m finally giving up on them, yours is the first review I’ve watched where the irons had graphite shafts, would you say that the graphite shafts would help slower swing speeds? My handicap index is 14.1 and currently use regular shafts as my swing speed is not high enough for stiff shafts. I do wonder whether or not the shaft was wrong in my mizunos, also I’ve not seen a test that you’ve done on the new G425’s yet, are you planning on doing a review, would be interesting to see a comparison of the G710 compared to the G425. Thanks

I play the Ping 400 irons as of now which I truly love. I enjoyed your Ping 710 iron review and I would not mind trying them but I think they are a little to pricey. I did try the Ping 700 irons and I liked them a lot. I figure maybe my next of Ping golf clubs will be the G700's as I think the price may come down a little on existing ones still available. They look great, but a "standard loft" of 26 is still stronger than a traditional 5 iron, so it'll take some work to figure out where they fit in the bag.

You testers need to focus on the performance and not the noise. Each club is different and the noise doesn't affect ball flight. Wear earmuffs!

I owned the previous G700. Could not get on with them at all even though custom fitted by my pro. It looks as though the G710 still has 1) this clicky sound. 2) Far too loud. 3 ) Ball went too high and too quickly off the clubface. 4) Too light a club 5) Difficult to find sweetspot. 6) Unable to work the ball from the clubface . 7) Not solid feedback 7) Very expensive. Have departed company and am now using off the peg Benross HTX irons. What a difference to my game !

I’ve played ping clubs for years and they are good quality. However, these are too expensive for me. They are following the trend of altering the lofts to get more distance a seven iron at 29.5 degrees is ridiculous. Not so long ago a seven iron was 36 degrees.

Unbelievable clubs. I tried them tonight at a fitting. I was hitting a 7 iron 180 yards. Incredible. Stop with the ego get them. They have a forged face. No difference in feel & workability between the i500 & these I found. I’m a low handicap golfer & I’m buying these. As I don’t play golf with an ego. Every ability of golfer would benefit from these, incredible.

I'm a bit disappointed hearing your praise about these irons.
1,27 smash factor is not that exceptional for a 6 iron since 1,39 seams to be the average for a woman 6 iron.

Looks like she is hitting range balls. It will produce lower ball speeds.
